I have tried out gig sites like fiverr but never had a sale. What is the best way to get a lot of sales on there quickly?
You need to have a strong online reputation for yourself in order to have a luck with such kind of websites. Are you having that?
Do you mean my general reputation on many sites online? I don't have any reputation on the gig sites because I must wait for people to start buying.
Catch-22. You could try promoting the gig elsewhere, have users directed to the gig page and you might get a rep that way. You might think what's the point, when you could sell it other places for the full $5 price (and not the $4 you get from fiverr), but it's just to establish yourself there. I wouldn't buy anything from anyone that doesn't have at least a few positive comments. To answer your question though, I have not had any sales on them. You could also try fourerr.com much less people though
That's a great idea to use it like a billing processor to start with. As i am looking to diversify my income sources and a mixture of a quick hit and a steadier income that builds up slower but stable this could work well for me.
Try freelance sites not crap sites like fiver who ever works for 5$ wtf ... Also You must first to know to do something then to start complaninig for not getting work ..
I have signed up for them also but I am looking for as many possibilities as I can over the next 2 weeks as I need to make about and extra €1000 before March 14th as my new girlfriend has set it as a deadline to move countries and go live with her. Just noticed that your from Romania she lives in Bulgaria. My main thing is email support but I also design websites and logos and do grunt work.
That is absolutely bull****. I had no reputation and I have already cashed out $50+, 6 times now. I have also written articles on fiverr where I give advice for anyone who wants it. Just find something you can do fast, repeatedly, cheap and something that many people are looking for. Market your gigs in social networks and other high traffic websites.
Thanks for the link to you article it is excellent it has helped me a lot now to start implementing. I can do most things so what has high sales volume on these sites?
I havent started yet building facebook and twitter profiles so I think this is a project that would take a few weeks or months to build up rather than days. Am I correct in my thinking?
Doing promotional videos, building social bookmarking backlinks, getting twitter followers / facebook fans, blog commenting, writing articles (300-500 words), write press releases, submit articles/pressreleases. These are some things that are pretty hot on fiverr but use your imagination to come up with new ones or add your own touch to it. Also, I'm glad the article helped you. =)
I believe what @krishnaegurus was trying to say was, "you need to build your reputation" by getting feedback from buyers on Fiverr. You must have a gig that stands out from the crowd of gigs on Fiverr. You need to explain your gig in description clearly so buyers fully understand the service or skill set you're offering them. Don't extravagant your gigs, the gigs you're offering should sound reasonable for the $5 that buyer will pay for the gig. Don't use the same images which everybody else is using for you gig use something entirely different. Show or have examples of your previous work to forward to a buyer when they contact you about your gig. Try to response back to a Buyer within 12 hours to 23 hours after they've contact you. Don't be afraid to contact potential buyer who posted a Suggest which know you're qualified too fulfill & deliver on. They may hire you if they like your work and/or you explain yourself clearly on what you can potentially do for them to meet their need or want.
try to offer unique gigs and mention the past work you have done on other websites. First job is always tough to get on any website. Video testimonials are the most popular on Fiverr. Check them out.
If you can post a video with your gig then it will do world of good to you. This is the latest trend on Fiverr and buyers know that you are a legitimate seller. The video should be made exclusively for fiverr.
It will only take hours to build profiles on twitter and pages on facebook. You can get 1,000 twitter followers in a day.
You can sell almost any skill you possess on Fiverr. I am a writer but things I have sold on Fiverr are related to programming, social media and wordpress just because i was good with those things You can try unique things and they will definitely work.
I have decide to try converting photos to sketch on fiverr and the other gig sites. Does anyone know of ones that have an affiliate program? I was thinking that if I am offering a gig and someone promotes it then the money could get split, in my mind it was a way of drawing in targeted traffic quicker.
