I am launching a site related "quotes" niche. Suppose if i am about to make 5000 uniques per day and with a CTR of 5%, what will be the average earnings be? I know the CPC is very very low on that niche. But how much do you think is possible. Any guys in quote niche and what is your success in Google Adsense on those site?
250 clicks is quite good. Have no idea about the CPC of the quotes niche but it can be a nice incoming.
how do you know u will get 5k unique a day? income depends upon many things other than traffic. placement of adsense ads, types of ads, type of traffic, theme on site and adsense ads theme.
if your traffic quality is good then you can earn 300 usd with 5000 uniques. its just a estimate based on my experiance. there is no fixed criteria between impression/clicks/earning .
It all depends really. What type of advertisers are advertising on "quotes" sites, where the ads are located - and what the eCPM is looking like as well.
What kind of quotes? I have a section on one of my sites with "sayings" type quotes on it. It earns a big fat $0, always has. I actually had to tell Google to ignore the content to stop it getting insurance ads. The ads it gets now are just broad ones related to the rest of the site, which is fine. If your site is about insurance quotes, you'll be inundated with ads and will probably make a fortune.
I can see your point on "quotes" but putting up anything about "Libya" whilst it might be good for news clicks, is not exactly going to attract advertisers clicks for tourists is it (sorry I have to cut off now as I have run out of tissues to cry with laughter into! - I'm not kidding, this is England! it depends on your niche. and depends on how google trust your site more trust from google is more value for click but i think for 5000 uv with 5% ctr you will get minimum $150
