But this is a PR0 site... Any revenue stats???

 

Stuck adsense on it in September and it did $6 to $12 per day. It's PR0 because it was registered in September for part of our 30k challenge. We had some offers we couldnt' refuse come up and didn't finish what it was intended for. The results are crazy for such a new domain but that is what we do.

 

Where is the domain hosted and is it free push, also can I take the site to my own servers if so ill bid $1.00

 

Hosted at dwhs.net, registered at godaddy so free push, you can take it but it's a lot to move and you are welcome to bid on ebay auction for any amount you'd like.

Don't have them, they were stuck up to test traffic quality and the channels that seperated the sites income have been deleted. We only leave adsense on sites that average .50 to $2 per click and use affiliate programs on everything else.

Yes I know this is not optimal for selling a site and the site was never meant to be sold so it wasn't considered at the time. The only record of stats I have recorded is a private message I sent to someone for 1 day of adsense.

Sat 23rd, 1245 impressions and $7.43.

The site is for sale with no reserve, if you are uncomfortable bidding on it without detailed stats take a pass on this one. I will be sure to properly track everything on any sites made for resell from now on.

1) Your going to totally kill traffic (and search engine traffic) by putting the "for sale" as a landing page for the site.

2) I think vanderberg was trying to say, without proof of traffic, why should we believe your statistics?

 

1) There has been a landing page from day 1. If you view the main urls cache in google you will see it's always been blank. The traffic is from deep links which are better for SEO. The SE traffic comes directly to the deeper pages, I doubt the homepage has ever gotten one hit from SE's.

2) I understand what he is saying, he didn't ask for proof of traffic though he asked for income from adsense which I can't provide because I did not keep it. I am aware of how many flybys there are on forums such as these which is why I started the auction at .01. The indexing and other work alone is worth more than this auction will probably close for, all traffic aside.

If anyone is seriously interested PM me and I will let you log into statcounter and confirm traffic for everyone. If you are in the US I'll even let you into the server to view stats.

To anyone considering bidding the above statement is not true because the main index is not where the SE traffic and backlinks are directed. They all point to specific posts or categories directly and the index has always been blank.

Here is an example of how Google links to the site.

As you can see it's not the homepage. (Not sure if every google datacenter is synced, vidangle is #1 here)

The backlinks are natural from people syndicating us and blog services listing our stuff when we ping, tag searches etc. There is nothing we could remove to change that. I will grab referral screenshot in a minute and post it here.

Yes there are a ton of referrals from Technorati searches but please don't base your bid on these. Techno was used in the initial blast for backlinks and it did it's job well but the traffic is very unstable as you can easily get banned. I'm sure some or all of the blogs are ping banned due to the sheer number of posts (thousands and thousands of pages) but it did it's job and got everything spidered and indexed. Many sites have also started syndicating as a result. The best way to build traffic on video sites is to get others posting them on forums. The templates could easily be edited to add a link for copy / pasting etc to build traffic that way. We would have done all this if it hadn't been a test site only and have grown other video sites in a similar fashion. With the groundwork already in place this would be easy to take advantage of.

Bonus

Since it looks like this site will fetch a fair price I will go ahead and throw in this. I will let the buyer use our private backend for 1 month. They will be able to create custom feeds that can be used to tell new categories to auto update at set intervals well into the future. They will also be allowed to create custom feeds for 1 additional domain name if they want.

I have to step out for a few hours but I'll try to get back to answer any questions before the auction ends.

Can you explain to me how the site work? Do you have to update the video manually and does it come with a admin?

 

Auction is closed. In the normal course of events yes you would update by hand. We use a private backend to handle all of that for us though.
