Anyone Use Moneybookers?

I am thinking about starting to use moneybookers. I signed up with them over a month ago but I keep getting request for more information about my business from them. I give them the info and then they ask more more info!. has anyone used them? or they worth the hastle?

 

Moneybookers is a decent alternative to Paypal and I've used them for a while. My brother still uses them and has a business verified account and it works smooth for him (But he has very very reliable clients).

I'm not sure what sort of clients you would have but moneybookers has a very bad tendency to close accounts if someone charge backs (using credit card). If you don't have very reliable buyers, I would suggest you to avoid using them.

Yes Normally their wire transfers reach within 2-3 business days which is pretty much decent.

Yes Money Booker is pretty good for paypal And i have to withdrawal the money to my Indian bank a/c through wire transfer and it will touches through a 3 to 4 days.

 

@GTOO: Iam Indian as well. How to BANK VERIFY ? They ask to send some small amount but Iam not sure how to process. Can I do it from my SBI online internet banking ?

Yes they are good, but Paypal is better

 

MoneyBookers is a great (and sometimes the only one) alternative for people that are from countries where PayPal is not (fully) supported. I am using them for years and haven’t got any problem with them so far. Withdrawal to bank account in Slovakia takes about 2 days.

 

I have been with moneybookers for 5 years now, even got my address verified. It's a great alternative if somehow you can't use your paypal.

Not always. We have been accepting Moneybookers and found it cheaper to PayPal on average in a month. Even you get better foreign exchange conversions here as they wire them directly. But your bank may charge you for incoming wires.

 

That is a really worrying issue. Hopefully nothing happened with me till now.

 

i have a moneybookers account but seldom use it. it's easy to withdraw to bank account.

 

Most of the moneybookers account is not used by the concerned person and its just created, moneybookers should be slightly flexible to grow well,their procedures are sometime pathetic

 

I am using Moneybookers last 1 year. It is really good but we can't use it instead of paypal. It is good his place but paypal is always paypal. No one fight agaist it.

 

I am using moneybookers for the past 3 months and I am really happy with their service and fee.

They just need more information from you to avoid any kind of fraud, you just give them what they are asking.
