Can A Facebook App Change Your About Me In Facebook?

    Can I write a Facebook app that has write access to a person profile like their "about me" or "interests" sections?

    When you click "Like", the like in question is added to their list of interests as long as you have the right og:tags.

    Changing their "About Me", I don't think so. The only time that'd be necessary is if you wanted to spam something anyway.

    Well that's clearly wrong, I'd love it for my app to be able to add to their about me with their permission, and obviously my app isn't spam.

    I don't think you can do that, you could create a screen that tells the user to do it on their own though.

    normally apps can post to the walls so i dont think its currently posible.

    Definitely FaceBook doesn't allow apps to do that.
