It kind of bugs me when I see subject lines like "This is a doozy", "I need help on this one", or "problem with Google". On the other hand as I scroll through the posts to find something of interest I can't eliminate those ones so I find my self clicking into the thread. Bad practice. Do you find yourself clicking into these or do you have more discipline and principles than me?
Hover over the subject to see the first line of text pop up. If that's crap too, they don't deserve your/my attention so I skip them. And yes, I find it pretty lame as well, especially considering it explicitly says when you start a new thread, that you need to think of a good subject.
I will answer you in the form of thread titles: "Interesting" "How Many Of You Pee In A Bottle?" "Be honest" "Oh damn .."
Don't even bother! it's closed - such a shame to your original point, you'd think it WOULD make sense to try and be as specific as possible to help people out. I bet some people do it (being vague) on purpose to just get views!
Vague-for-views is one way to see it but from the vague threads I've bothered to read aren't a ploy but rather they were thinking out loud and leading with "I'm going crazy" or whatever that first though was. I should remember to do the hover thing Tops30 mentioned.
