Hi, I have built a site in the dating neiche: http://learnhowtopickupgirls.com/ I am doing SEO on it and starting to see success but I'd really like to get some quicker traffic! I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about how I can promote it to get some traffic quickly? Thanks Phil
there is no magic spell to drive traffic to website, thou there are some techniques by which you can bring relevant amount of traffic to your site, you can use ... services like ADWORD or FACEBOOK ADS which can bring good amount of traffic to your site and that to relevant too.. but you need to have a big budget for that....if your budget is low and can't afford PPC programs then other options can be like using WEB 2.0 site like FACEBOOK and TWITTER ... but you need to be regular on it and it requires some time to build trust .... other than this you can do social bookmarking and press release to initial traffic ... hope it helped you ...
I agree....if you want traffic fast then look for paid traffic sources like ppc, email marketing, banner ads, text ads, facebook ads If you are on a budget then look at free traffic sources like article marketing, video marketing, social media, forum posting
PPC is the best way to get some quick traffic. SEO tactics take a bit of time to kick in but can be lucrative once you get it going.
Realistically you need to plan and build around gaining traffic in the long run, rather than a quick burst at the very beginning.
adwords should be the answer to it. but promoting it social networking sites such as facebook and etc. could work.
Yeah .. Right .. Adwords is an effective tool to get some traffic to your site ... you site is interesting for some daily niches .. Try some PPC services ... other things like ad a Forum to your Site will help ...
My experience with AdWords was very disappointing. Flew through my budget in a flash and didn't generate much in the way of qualified visitors. My niche is diet and exercise buddies (WannaBuddy.com is the site, your feedback is always appreciated) and Google just sent me teenage dieters. Much better success writing guest blogs with an author's credit link back to WannaBuddy.com.
Adwords is tough for a beginner. I think free methods such as article, forum, and video marketing can really be useful. The only issue is that you have to commit plenty of time to developing these traffic streams. It will pay off though. I'm not comfortable using Adwords so I opt to put in extra time on free traffic strategies. There's really nothing quick about it, but then again there's really nothing quick in internet marketing. We just like to think there is.
Spend some money, create a press release or have some whacky video created that you can spin to facebook, etc and try to get it viral, otherwise it will be a long haul
I'm surprised from reading this thread how many people tend to just jump the gun and say Adwords. There are a hell of a lot of ways to advertise with instant results for totally free. A lot of ways that people don't tend to think of. If you need any help advertising just shoot me a PM.
There is no word like "quicker traffic" in the dictionary of white hat SEO. By following SEO techniques you can seek traffic for your site gradually and I think it's the best. So just continuing SEO techniques and keep patience.
digg, yahoo answers, article marketing, all the other social network marketing and bookmarking sites, and of course paid traffic
You can start your own blog. Of course you would have to post up some quality material to hook bloggers and to keep them coming back for more.
Facebook and adwords are too expensive imo. There are sites that offer a lot cheaper traffic, but of course, it's untargeted one. But still, I'd rather go with the cheaper solution, as I have in the past, and it worked fine.
