Ok I have been marketing my website for about a month now. And I have been doing pretty good. I Advertise on Forums Facebook Twitter - dont get much traffic from twitter though. are there any more ways I can get Natural traffic to help build my traffic and backlinks ?
Commenting in relevant blogs or forums with valuable suggestions and provide the link to your site in your comment. If someone is interested in your comment, maybe they would like to visit your site.
Yeah that's one of the best things... I normally stay on forums with in my niche and that gave me a lot of backlinks. However I hear that Google only count a website one time as a backlink. So if I post one hundred times, Google only counts it as one. LOL so that's it harder, but forums do give out nice traffic.
Get ranking in the search engines with the specific keyword then you can get targeted traffic & visitors which helps to get lead for your business
Apply the techniques of SEO like article submission, forum posting, blog commenting, Social media marketing, directory submission etc. Update your content in a regular interval and post the links to popular social bookmarking sites that are you using. Use the mentioned techniques consistently and let it known to everyone that your site really exists.
Simple - spread the word among the web - get links - and rank high. Search engines are the best way to get natural traffic.
using Web 2.0 site can generate relevant amount of traffic and backlinks ... for an example you can use link-wheel and such process.... blog commenting and forum posting are best way to promote you blog or website.... otehr than this you can use web 2.0 sites like free blog hosting site, social bookmarking, web directories, press releases, article submission, link building and so on .... this technique will drive traffic as well as create backlinks too...
+1 Having a Facebook/Twitter site will only attract people who come across your page on Facebook/Twitter. You need to rank high for keywords and phrases in google searches to get consistent traffic.
Yeah, Facebook is working really well for me and im getting some good traffic from there too. Some of my keywords are search able and I can be found through a Google search. Its just that only maybe 2 or 3 people come through using keywords. And I want to improve that a bit. Should I put more keywords in my Meta tags ? Or just focus on building more traffic and my search engine rankings will go higher over time ?
the easiest and assured way to get more traffic is to constantly participating in discussion on the high pr forums like this one>
Harder way: Make sure your keywords are power and hot on search engine Easy way: Exchange link with friends, comment on others blog and leave a link to your blog, put in your signature on forum, ping your site once a day, submit to search engine, submit to stumbleupon, digg and etc, submit articles about your website/blog on free articles directories like ezinearticles and lot more. Do your research with Google and you will find out hundreds more ways. Hope so. =)
Absolutely right! Commenting within blogs on you're niche can work well. You don't always get a lot of traffic, but if you keep up with reading and commenting traffic will come. So yes commenting is a decent way of gain new leads. If you haven't taken the step towards article marketing than it's worth a try. Remember quality content is the key to article marketing. Even though Google's recent change hurt some article marketers, that doesn't mean quality articles are not working. The change was to help weed out poor content. Directory submission in my opinion only gets you a lot of spam. I'd stay away from it and submit to only the major search engines. The rest will pick you up once your site is indexed (if it hasn't been already). Traffic exchanges are worthless unless you use a splash/landing page. Mainly the make money niche uses them. Again not worth the effort unless using a landing page for gaining some new leads.
I like to use Google Reader to find the most current blog posts to comment on. Add 25 .. 50 .. 75+ rss feeds to your reader. Try to make sure you are only following good blogs in your niche, nothing spammy. Then pick a time each day to review that day's posts. Leave a comment with a link back to your site on the posts where you have something useful to add. The key here is to make sure you are leaving good, thoughtful comments. Doesn't matter if not all the links are dofollow ... you are building a reputation.
