I have an Easyshop International Debit card. I opened my account on Netsafe on 20/2/2011 and registered my card.
I checked the balance and everything was OK.
I used my card for Online shopping on ccavenue.
I last checked my account balance on 21/2/2011 and balance was OK.
Today, on 23/2/2011, when I checked my balance it was less by exactly Rs.100000.
I checked the used cards list and there was only that card that I used for online purchase and no other used card which makes one thing clear that it is not the work of another person.
Also, I keep my Debit card in a safe and I am 100% sure that no one has made the use of card to withdraw this huge amount. Also, you cannot withdraw this much of amount in one day.
Then how is the balance reduced?
Is it due to the fluctuations in the Share Market or else?

So 1 lakh Rs has been deducted from your account.
You should better call HDFC customer care and know about it dude.
    Don't waste time here.

If it showing in your bank statement, it is a real transaction.

    Contact the bank immediately.

Also, please update the thread later so all of us know what went wrong and whether you were able to get back your money or not.

I wrote to HDFC cutomer care. They are demanding:
    1. Customer Identification Number (Cust ID)
    2. 14-digit Account number

What are these? Where can I found these?
I only have my card with me which bears a 16-digit number.

Is this some kind of a joke ? You are claiming to have generated a Netsafe card from HDFC bank after logging into the bank website and now you claim that you don't know your customer ID and funny part is you don't know your own account number ?
