Which is better fr.abcdcom or abcd.com/fr . Give me relevent suggestion and which one is easy to promote.

abcd.com/fr will be better as subdomain will be treated by search engines as another domain

 

abcd.com/fr inner page is easy to promote as compare to subdomain because subdomain treats as another domain by SE. So, you can choose abcd.com/fr.

 

Using a sub domain is not that preferable. As they say, SE (Search Engines) treat them as another domain or site. So using a sub folder domain is better than sub domain. For in a sub folder, alexa can be gain by other pages.

 

I think you should go with abcd.com/fr
