With all due respect to you, but what on earth are you doing with an unmanaged VPS if you don't even know how to install anything on your server? What you're attempting to do is easy for an experienced admin, but will still take a bit of time to set-up. You need PHP, MySQL as a min and possibly Zend and Ioncube too. You'll need to set up a web site, set up the database, config the server, and then secure it all.

An unmanaged VPS or dedicated server is not for the inexperienced. Get a system admin sorted out or else pay your host to manage it for you. It's a disaster now, and it will only get worse as time goes on. I doubt anyone has the time to explain it all in a post as it will take pages and pages to explain everything you need to do and how to do it.

RonBrown is 100% correct. You are going to need a few things installed and setup before you can even think of moving your site over. Have you thought about a control panel at all?

best is to install a cpanel or lxadmin in the vps. it simplifies lot of other installations easily.
