    Hi friends,

I just bought a new domain for my business purpose and am looking for a place to host the domain. Can anyone suggest me any web hosting places?

While buying the domain, I got an InstantPage created on the website, does this mean I dont have to host the domain anymore?

Please help, a little confused :(

No that instant page is probably provided by the domain registrar and it probably has just paid links on it and it is called a Parked Page. If you want to build a site on it then you will have to host it with a web host ing provider. There are many out there. Matter of fact there are a couple in your sig. But never use your own affiliate link to sign up, the chances are you will probably get banned and if not then you will not get the commission at all. Although I see that you already have those sites hosted somewhere so why not use the same hosting service, most of them allow you to host unlimited number of domains.

Thanks for your quick reply :)
Actually the links in my signature are one of my clients and not mine. Also I already have a blog which is hosted on a minimum plan from hostgator, can I use the same nameservers?
When I bought the domain at godaddy, I was also charged for :
    Email - Deluxe (2 GB Total/5
    Boxes) - AP region
    (recurring)
    Length: 1 Period(s)

    What does this mean?
    Thanks for your help, appreciated.

Oh boy oh boy.. Here we go.. godaddy does it again. LOL.. those are just extra services they make you go through before you even actually get to pay for the registration of domain/s. You can basically chose not to opt in for any extra services but a lot of people end up being a prey for their marketing tactics. Just make sure you cancel this because it is recurring and not sure how much they will charge you every month. If you already have a hosting plan with hostgator then you don't need any other. I think even the cheapest hosting plan allows you to host unlimited number of domains with hostgator.

And yes you can use the same servers as you are using for your blog.

    You are very welcome.

What do you do by the way?

    Thank you for your reply.
I have unchecked the renew option in front of my new domain name purchased :), seems like this option is for a year, because it was saying expiring after a year.
That good, I have posted the same name servers as I have for my blog, also godaddy already had some servers posted in that section.

Normally I am selling links here and recently have started to bring in foreign students in China to study MBBS (doctorate), thatz why I got the domain chinambbs.org. Hope I learn all the basics quickly to set up a website with atleast 5 pages :)

    Cheers.

    Hi China_girl,

Mmbillionaire has given you some very good advice. The Daddy is incredibly aggressive throughout the signup process with numerous offers, most of which are not only unnecessary but if all are taken up - make their hosting etc quite expensive. If you already have a hosting plan with the Gator contact them to see about adding your domains to that account. From memory their smallest Hatchling account only hosts the 1 domain but you can upgrade easily to a larger plan and their control panel is much more user friendly than the Daddy's. We should know - we win a lot of business from them because of it - lol

    Good luck.

If you are looking for cheap hosting company then Dollar2host will be right choice for you. It offers 24/7 live supports as well. Besides it, Dream host, Blue Host will be another good choice for you.

Don't go with free host their IP is blacklisted by search engine.

It will hardly get you a better ranking in search engine.

Thanks for your advice, I am thinking of going with the hostgator baby plan, which has unlimited domains to park.

i would prefer godaddy or hostgator since they are major players and you won't have any downtime issues in future if you go with major players

With the right web hosting company, your business web site can be much easier than you think.
So, you should do a vast search of signs of reliability of the company you are going to deal with.

So I believe you should have more options to compare plans, I advice to take a look at plans from Grabweb.net, you will get stress-free services with featured plans

You can try to contact the current customers of the web host provider of your choice and see if they are satisfied with the kind of services being rendered by the web host company.
