Accelerated or standard delivery?

    Hey,

    Does anybody know which of accelerated & standard delivery has better results? does it make a difference when targetting only one country? am a total newbie... :)

    Accelerated & standard delivery refer to the check Google sends you.

    If you are making enough money from Adsense to get paid via Accelerated delivery, go for it.

    If you are just getting the minimum amount, it might be better wait for the time that a standard delivery takes to reach your home.

    That has nothing to do with targeting, though depending on your location it may take more or less days.

    It's true I'm new to adwords but hello I am not that dump ;) No there is an accelerated and standard delivery for ads.... :)

    I would suggest you to go for accelerated ..but that some times effects you ..i used accelerated ..for the keywords i used i got 3K clicks in 20 mins lol and that made my server go down

    Ok, here's my 10 cents worth ...

    The way it works is that Google Adwords looks at your 'daily' budget and then compares that with the 'potential' estimated impressions per day.

    Accelerated delivery will show your ads as quickly as Google can serve them until it uses up your 'daily' budget.

    Standard delivery will eek out display of your ads so that they will show evenly during the day so as to use your 'daily' budget over the 24 hour period.

    And the 'daily' budget isn't quite that. Take that figure, multiply it by 30 and Google Adwords will make sure you won't spend more than that in a month (so they give you a guarantee on the maximum they'll charge you over the month and split that into a daily rate).

    If your budget is too low, you'll miss out on potential clicks because Google won't want you to go over your budget.

    It all depends on how deep your pockets are and how quickly you want to spend your advertising budget ...

    ... and of course on how much ROI you want :)

    nice complete answer, I would add that looks like that the standard delivery algorithm calculation don't work very well and underestimate the delivery so you always get more traffic in the end with the accelerated delivery, so choose accelerate delivery as normally you want more traffic with lower bids.
