Interesting definition "persuasive advertising", but that is well off the mark. Splogs are a scourge and run a close second to email spam. Splogs are not generally associated with advertising, at least not advertising in the common sense. Splogs are used for building backlinks and/or in combination with auto-generated content containing keyword-phrases aimed at gaming the search engines. The only advertising, if you can call it that, is that of the affiliate links that are often found in some of these splogs. Splogs are just as the name implies -- spam blogs.
Splogs sure are a scourge, just like email spam AND plagiarized forum content. I find it hard to rate them in an order. http://www.bukisa.com/articles/213676_facts-to-know-about-blogging
Very interesting fitting about splogs Mr. Dodger. Affiliate advertising and promoting your website are two different things.
Nice find, and what a scum bucket @eclair is! To start a thread with a post containing plagiarized content, and NOT attribute the source is just fowl! Pooh, pooh on @eclair you get red rep dude!
;p It is not. It is the original post. I didn't changed at all, cause I own the PLR and I just post it for share. It is all mine my friend. ; maybe ruletheworld knows more about it.
So you are saying that your name is Alvorne, and you wrote the article at http://www.bukisa.com/articles/213676_facts-to-know-about-blogging entitled "Facts to Know About Blogging" on Dec 13th, 2009? The same article that is pratically line-for-line identical to the article in your opening post? Is that what you are saying? Be careful how you answer that question. A simple yes or no will suffice.
What? Not sure what you are trying to say. At any rate. The original article is covered under a Creative Commons license which gives you permission to redistribute any or part of that article AS LONG AS you provide attribution back to the original article. If you bought the PLR for that article, then I would say that somebody hoodwinked you out of some money (or something else?)
I know more about this article and I can't do that you ask me to. Sorry if this is disappointing to you. It is a free gift from my provider, only this I can reveal. Hope this is more than enough.
So now that you know that article is covered with a Creative Commons license, which states that you have to provide attribution for the article, what are YOU going to do? Will you still carry the article on your site, publish it on other sites such as you did in the OP, and without attribution? Actually, I do not care one way or the other. The article is dated, and not that well written. It is just the fact that you are ambivalent to where it came from and have a complete disregard for copyrights. The red rep stands. At least between @ruletheworld and myself, we have given a few links back to the original owner and all without your help. Just be careful when you start throwing up other articles that are copyrighted or carry some type of license for redistribution.
No, No No that's not how it works. You cannot rip content off the site and post it without attributing to the source. No, it is not PLR and no you cannot pass it off as yours. Like Dodger already mentioned, it is covered under a creative commons license which means you cannot steal the content and put it under your name. Is it really so hard to include a link back to the original article? Yes sure, you can "post it for share" if you wish but not as if you have written it, because you have not. You can "post it for share" attributing the work to the original author. You could say "hey I found this interesting article and wanted to share with you: <link>" and followed by a few of your thoughts. Say you find a newspaper article which is interesting: will you copy and paste the article without linking back to the news story?
Err... don't copy-paste others' work as your own. If you want to bring attention to an article, include the original source
What do you mean it is something you can't include? Are you talking about your opening post and it is no longer editable? If so, then chalk this thread up as a learning experience and remember what you need to do next time. If it is something that you won't include, then I am just not getting what you are not getting.
