Hi, I'm using gg analytics to track my visitors and I found that adsense and analytics are equal and accurate but when I saw awstats....they show many unique visitor to my site much more than analytics and I don't understand why?? Should I trusted analytics and adsense or awstats??

To compare like for like is diificult, but for a start you need to make sure that each stats monitor is monitoring the same number of pages on your site

In that way at least you know the results should be similar

Awstats are generated directly from the log files. In case of adsense and analytics, they are javascript based and they count a visitor/hit to your site only when the javascript is executed. If a visitor came and quickly left the site before it loaded, that user won't be tracked.

So the stats at analytics and adsense will always be less than what awstats shows.

hmm seems true, cause i installed a netracker software for a client and all the stat's are coming from server log. But the server log also track the crawler. :D

Additionally, you need to install analytics on every page or make sure it loads. Many have different headers for their site, etc. and must remember to put it in each one and in each script with unique headers or your page count will be much less.

No, this is not true. The visits from search engines are counted as separate hits. They are not counted towards your regular visitors. If you notice or read documentation, you will know that on the top summary section, there are two rows, first one is for the visitors and second one is the SEs which is counted separately. So do not mix up.

Also, the data from awstats is 100% correct and must be trusted fully as it is your server log report.
