adwords not only help - my business is entirely running for last 19 months only because of adwords . But one has to choose the keywords carefully and max. cost per click for that respective keyword
For a sustained influx of visitors you might wanna give SEO a shot. PPC will only help you for the period of time your campaign is running and/or if you offer some serious value that'll make people bookmark your webpage.
Adwords seems to be the only way I can get mine to go to the top. Its a lot of competition in my line of work, most have a website and we are all trying to be on top of the first page.
I agree with what most of the other people stated, Google adwords is very useful if you have content on your website that will actually make the user want to come back to your website.
For repeat visitors to your site, as suggested above Adwords is not the thing, Adwords is for if you have a product you want to test in the market and you quickly want to see if it sells. Or your sales can justify a constant adwords campaign whilst you organically optimise your website. Really what you need to do is set up a social scheme. use Facebook and Twitter and get people to like you or join your group. Keep in contact with your customers on a daily basis through your social website, let them know what your up to all the time and they will always see new activity from you, if you have a good offer on you can be sure you will get your return visitors. It's all about you and a brand, keep in their minds and they will keep coming back. Taz
concentrate on the landing page and the specific product or service which you are offering and why you are better than others . I have had very good experience with adwords
Its not about repeated traffic, its all about targetted traffic, really depends on your site. dont use addwords for blog
I know that many people using adwords for affiliate marketing and have great results just spending not more than 10 cents. So its up To your AdWords skills.
I think it helps a lot, i have just started advertisement for my site, got $100 for from from Google so it cant hurt to try so far I have gotten over 30 clicks a day and people are returning.
Adwords doesn't offer repeated visitors. Just visitors. If you site is interesting from them you will have repeated visitors.
Adwords is best for provide services/products worst method to get just visitors for Blogs, they just disappear soon !
Adwords is good for businesses with large budgets, it's not for those who have small advertising budgets. Organic work will be far better for them.
its worthwhile when you want to your web or product is new to customers. From my point of view, if your product has a high profit margin, i wouldn't advise for small profit margin. In the end the competition will kill you (as the keyword bidding raises up) The best way for small profit margin is to go for SEO invest high today but enjoy a long growth in future
As everyone else has said, AdWords works great if you have a product/service that you can convert quickly.. If you have a content page, AdWords can be useful, but you need to come up with some sort of method to draw them back (newsletter, updating content, etc).
