Adsense isn't allowed to be placed in video site?

I just read Google Adsense program policies and found this:

So if I have an artists photo gallery, I'm not allowed to place Adsense in it?

    ..
I have never been clear on what the "Image Results" meant.. clearly it cant mean a page with pictures? I am GUESSing it means a page that pulls in the results of a search for images on the web - because those may be copyrighted.

but - if you have a photo gallery with no text, it might be hard getting decent ads..

    Thanks Tearabite,

I have a trick for that. I optimize the "alt" and give a title for each image.
For example: Jessica Alba - US Artist and Model #1
this way, it attracts some US based ads about DVDs and films.

Lol ridiculous. It specifically says Results. As long as the videos don't infringe copyright it's okay.

What I saw is that many websites which provide video clips and short commercial films also use adsense. Aren't those videos copyrighted? I think so.

If they are copyrighted, they're violating the TOS. Otherwise, they aren't. Simple as that:)

All that needs to be updated. It hasn't been true for quite awhile. Proof?

Check out thsese posts at the OFFICIAL ADSENSE Google Group (they should confirm for you that putting adsense on sites with video IS okay):

    post 2

If Google is telling Adsense publishers to put video on their site through an Adsense announcement board, it must be OK.

Remember, these were posted in an OFFICIAL ADSENSE news group by an OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE of Google. No one else, but Google representatives, are allowed to post there.

    Thanks Mike,
I think the main issue here is copyrighted materials.
