its' disgusting that pornbb drop filesonic. Thank goodness there are lots of new boards popping up all over the place. Only oron, mega and rapid going to be allowed is grotesque.

Also Hish please can you ask filesonic about paxum, it is very good and a lot of big companies ie braz etc are using it. Also the fee's are way better than the alternatives. Please ask them to at least look at it and see why some people are asking about it. It would be great to get my money paid into paxum.

Oron has a good strategy buying forums , i think filesonic need to do something similar before oron gets all the good forums

Yep the worst is true. Pornbb went ahead and banned the best file hosts. Another oron board bites the dust. At least they won't be removing older posts before the changeover. Here is what the admin said on pornbb:

Dear valued PornBB members,

We would like to inform you about some changes here at PornBB. Please read carefully as it contains crucial information about the new rules and regulations.

File Hosts:

Starting from the 1st of March, 2011, only the following five file hosts will be allowed to be used for posting and sharing:

Hotfile.com
Rapidshare.com
Oron.com
Megaupload.com
Depositfiles.com

Use of other file hosts is not allowed!

The new rules will go into effect on the 1st of March, 2011.

We will not remove any threads! All threads will be left intact.

From the 1st of March onwards, you will not be able to update your threads using banned hosts. Those will be censored. However, you will be able to update your threads using any of the allowed hosts for new posts.

You may also edit your threads and move what has already been posted to an allowed host. You can always start a new thread, or you can just keep what is already there and continue updating it using the new hosts.

you're the man hish, you know we love filesonic. I think people (at least I do) post here just to make sure things are happening to other people as well. At least we know it's a site-wide issue and not just things happening to us individually. I'm sure now that you posted most people will relax.

 

filesonic definitely having upload issues. Also I had noticed that when I would upload to filesonic via ftp, the upload would restart again after being finished. Not sure if anyone else here had that problem. I use filezilla as my ftp client.

Hi. First of all, I want to say 'thank you so much' to all Filesonic team for compensate the money when stats had frozen.

Well, but I still a doubt: I see that the compensation money has been included as "Premium sales", so I was wondering if this is going to be considerated in 'Pay Per Sales' plan or I will get that money with the others counted downloads.
