My payment option was check, did anyone else receive such reminder and should I opt for the EFT?

i'm curious.. why do you guys prefer checks?
I find EFT to be faster and more secure because i dont have to wait for it to arrive in the mail, dont have to worry about it getting lost/stolen, etc.
It seems to me like EFT is the better, smarter faster way ..
    am i missing something?

I agree with Tearabite. I've always used EFT. I don't see the advantage of a check vs. EFT.

No it means they will do an Electronic Funds Transfer to your bank account - as opposed to sending you a physical check...I'll take EFT anytime...

I like receiving the check because I can take a picture of it, but the downside is it takes about a week to get here and the bank place a long hold on it.

In Canada the bank puts a 30 day hold on US cheques...so I was glad to switch to EFT last month.

Ask your bank to remove the "hold" is all it should take. By default they (bank) place a hold on every cheque deposited unless customer asks to remove hold. At least thats what I've found.

Got mine today so looks like rule of thumb is 2 business days after they issue payment. (This is my first run with electronic transfer as I always received cheques before)
