I use FTP client -Smart FTP to upload heavy files & it increases my upload speed drastically.

So I just need ftp address.Like all major hosts have-

Filesonic-ftp.filesonic.com
Hotfile- ftp.hotfile.com
etc.

I tried ftp.megashare.com but it does not respond.

So kindly provide me ftp address.

Actually we announced it very early before even starting development but it was not a small project even we were not aware of the time it would take so that's why you are feeling delay but in fact working is going on with constant speed and will be finished soon!

Current we don't have FTP feature available, so you have to upload files via browser only.

Sorry for the inconvenience for now but you'll have FTP upload in our next version which is expected soon!

OK, so I had one link die already even though I think it was less than a month? Worse, I put this link up 48 hours ago and its gone???

Can someone tell me why and what happens to the downloads that I got from that link. This is not giving me confidence in MegaShare as dead links lead to complaints.

 

OK, I apologize the link isn't dead, but its not appearing in my uploads list with a download total and people are telling me they can't download it. Please advise

 

Is it just me or I can't seem to upload to megashare for hours now.

EDIT: It's just me. Something wrong with the server.

 

That's not a big issue. You will see that file when you upload 1-2 more files.
Its goes like this..

If you have uploaded 11 files then you will see only 10 files in stats (10 files in one page) but the moment you upload the 12th file you will see all the 12 files (10 files in one page and 2 on the next page).

If link is alive why your users can't download a file? is there any other problem?

 

Actually he thought that the link is dead because he didn't see it in the stats page whereas the link was still live. Afterwards he might have checked and then got to see that the link is fine but not showing in the stats and after that I made it clear in my previous comment that why it isn't showing up.

Yes but later he told that link is alive but downloaders are reporting that link is not working. That's why I asked about the further problem.

 

Yes exactly. But after upload a 12th file you will see both 11th and 12th file.

Your payment (Paypal ID) is considered as the one which you used to register an affiliate account with Megashare.

Hitman I think this question should be in FAQ as well..

PM Hitman with your current account details and your paypal ID. He will do the needful.
Or you can add another email in your paypal account.

 

You can't change your email now but if you just started with Megashare, I would suggest you to make a new account with your paypal email so that your future payments will be processed properly but if you want to continue with this account, you have to PM me your account email and Paypal email at the end of the month so that we can send payments to your correct account.

Associating another ID in Paypal would be a good option as well.

 

K, registered a new account. Should we request payout after each month or are they automated?

 

Automated. Normally payment is sent out on the first / second of every month.

 

Hey, hitman. First, let me say I appreciate the quick replies I recieve from you/MegaShare. Much better than other sites I deal with!

On downside, not sure why two users have stated they can't download this file other than once or twice the connection seems slow.

My main concern right now is the file I mentioned above still isn't showing up anywhere?? Someone mentioned the 10th file thing, but that's not it. Can you help as I'm pretty sure this will have a download count over 1000 within a week.
