So many low paying clicks

Hi all. I get like 50 clicks a day; but they are worth about 5 cents. I have a video site; so I guess the ads are pretty low paying. Is there Anything I can do to increase the quality of ads that show up? I would be happy with a 10 cent ad!!!

That's pretty common now. Why don't you stick a pic to the left of your ads with a vertical divider. See if that increases your CTR. Another thing...stick the words "Indian videos" on your page, in your description, keywords, and maybe even title. AdSense is showing pretty untargeted ads for you...generic video ads.

You can try to improve the percentage of clicks (CTR) on your ads with better placement, blending, and images -- but improving your traffic is the real answer. Even with a low CTR, lots of traffic can bring you good revenue.

I am happy with the CTR; but unhappy with the quality of ads. Or the lack of high paying ads :(

It's myspace related so CPC is supposed to be low, but lately it's been a joke. It's seriously like giving traffic away.

The past few days have also been harsh for me as well. I'm getting like 5 cents per click, average.

I've been getting hits that are $0.00! What is with that? It's really frustrating 'cause I don't have heaps of clicks and it would be good to atually make money from the ones that I get.

    I experienced it too.
    Yeah, I don't know what that means. 1 click (sometimes 2 clicks) = $0.00?
but since I got many clicks, I don't really mind it..

Those 0 cent clicks are public service ads.

Oh a whole I have seen the low paying ads be more prevailent. Is G taking more of a cut?

I would have to ask how many ad units are you showing on your page. Are you doing adsense or spamsence? Are you monitising for adsence or affiliate links? If you are just trying to get some exit clicks then below the fold at the bottom of the page may be your best bet. I have found that a text unit above the fold well blended and a graphic unit at the bottom of the page do wonders and still get good conversions on affiliate links.

I think it may be the topic of your sites that's giving you low paying ads. I have a site about finance and the average I get is 20 cents per click. The problem is, with this niche it's hard to get high traffic.

There are lot of niches which pays about $0.01 cent and its quite normal for those niches. It means it depends on your niche :)

First you spend all that time building up traffic; then you have to work to get high paying ads.. this never ends :)
