Hello Mihai, Thanks for the entry. Here is the feedback. The most striking part of your design is the subscription box. It stands out amazingly from the rest of the subscription box. The colour of the box is cool and so it the text and the button. What is also very good about is the text style for the form fiels i,e, your first name , your email address. These are very strong Web 2.0 features. Now comes the part which is not right. The design feedback I have received is that the woman looks amazing but it is very evident that the pound sign is not part of the image and it looks kind of out of place. The text on the right hand side has too many colours and actually takes away focus from the subscribe section. It feels like there are lots of messages in a small area. The feedback as well as my personal opinion is that you are very close to getting this right due your subscribe box, the text and menu still need some work. I have to say though you are a star I am looking forward to your next design.
Hi Twinkle, Thanks for the amazing entries, your design is the most unique and stands out from the rest for its very uniqueness and style. The review for your design clearly states that you have come into this competition with a purely different style. The menu looks cool and gels in with the top header beautifully. I think you just need to try some more colour combinations for the yellow and green and demonstrate how a drop might look. Can you also add the rest of the menu items to see how it will all look. By the way everyone loves how you integrated the facebook and twitter icons on the side. I have been requested to ask you if you could have full twitter & facebook logo image on the side as a test. I am looking forward to your entry.
Hi Natali, Welcome to the competition. Sorry for the delay in the feedback. The feedback I have received is that the design does not look very professional mainly because of too much of blue. The menu is quite good, however the following areas need revision: 1) Colour: Like I explained the design has too much of blue which makes it look like an amatuer design. 2) Subscribe box is very clutter like the original design and needs redesigning. I think Mihai and Twnkle start have done a great job with it and maybe you can find some inspiration in it. 3) Integration. Because no part of the existing design is show, it is hard to imagine this will gel in perfectly with the rest of the design. Cheers Muz
To add more color like you wanted, I changed the search bar to red instead of green. And darkened the buildings behind the girl. facebook and twitter logos have been implemented as well as the dropdown box.
