Plenty of SEO companies out there. I've never tried them though. With the $$ they charge you're probably best to just try starting out with some SEO yourself.
can't point any company.. but i suggest to not fall for those who offer guaranteed rankings.. especially if they don't do any site analysis..
You can learn few link building techniques easily on online..so learn it and implement for your site..if you stuck up any where then ask a question here..you will get answers..
you can consider: 1. ask for your friend's recommendation 2. check out the seo companies in your region and catch up with them face to face 3. ask for seo company's testimonials and contact their past clients. Hope it helps
Try optimizing your site through onpage optimizations. Onsite and offsite optimization must go hand in hand. Google has lots of informative post about SEO. If you are to choose some SEO companies, make sure to do a background check. Hope it helps.
I think you can do it by yourself cause many books and sites will teach about that, but the problem is need long time to do SEO works for your new site

try to learn it yourself. search for seo techniques on google, understand the process and practice it yourself. once you understood all the nuts and bolts you may decide yourself. also you can hire a local professional tell him to do certain task like link building, article submission, and other routine seo tasks.
