Infraction for saying ''Thanks for sharing'' in the cheap stuff forum!

Am surprised ....
Got an Inappropriate / Disallowed Post as the reason for saying ''thanks for sharing ''
in the cheap stuff forum..

Can anyone please help me here if i did anything wrong.. If i did i would accept the infraction.. But just for thanking someone.. Am I missing something...???

Hey, this way you'll remember it, won't you.

Getting an infraction is natures way of reminding you that posting crap to pad your post count will get you banned. Read the guidelines, and engage the brain before hitting send. Most forums would rather you use the keyboard to post, not the mouse. Use the rep button to say thanks, use the forum for posting something the other readers in the thread might care to see without wading thru the muck.

It takes 10 infraction points to get a ban... so you can read the guidelines and learn the rules up front, OR you can skip that stage and learn them 1 point at a time as you break them. Your call.

What were you thinking infractions were before.

 

Consider infractions are learning rope in DP world.

 

The introductions forum helped me a great deal when I was new, I learned what counts as a valid post. It avoids getting infractions when you don't mean to!

 

Would you rather we send robjones to your house to give you a whoopin'?

 

I hate to sound dumb, but who is robjones?

 

Doesn't really matter....to you.

But suffice it to say that he will hunt you* down and dismantle you so badly that not even your dental records will help the authorities identify your remains.
