How to get top ranking in google?

Hi,
I just need a little help.
I'm optimizing some of my sites for the medium competitive keywords and they are on page 2,3 & 6 but not getting 1st page from many days.
Daily I'm doing, article submission, social bookmarking, forum postings, blog comments but they didn't helped me anymore.
Is there anymore method to get my site on top in google? if yes please share.

Check backlinks of your competitors sites & try to get backlink from that sites. It will also help you to get top ranking over your competitors

 

Getting top position in Google is little bit difficult as all webmaster try to come their websites in top position and due to this they use all effort that they can for it. According to me now, you should only concentrate on quality sites.

 

Dear Snipers No body will tell you to How to Come on First Page Just beacsue its a Trick and some webmasters are doing their best to get on First Page
so my advise is to u .....first check your top Competitors and check what they are Doing and do the Same as they did and try to optimize with long tail keyword

y i am saying this i had also face this problem and everyone will suggest u to check the Competitor Work and His back link and do the same for ur keyword and websites

 

When your keyword rank in top two pages than competition starts, top ranker for any keyword do have some plus points like better content, well optimize tags(title, H1) and main point domain age. So follow them...Also some new ways of link building..Like press releases..

2. Meta tags optimization,
3. Image optimization,
4. Head tags optimization,
5. Proper keyword density,
6. Less javascript and iframes

Off Page SEO
1. Directory Submission
2. Bookmarking
3. Article Submission
4. Press release Submission
5. Blog posting, commenting etc

Try to get as much backlinks as you can from good websites of your niche.

 

To get on top of google firstly you have to check your Competitors Link Building Strategy : What they do , what links do they have and so on.

But firstly you need to optimize your site with ON SEO optimization ( H1 tags , tittles , sitemap etc)

Than go for OFF site optimization as you said you have been making Forum links , blog commenting etc but still not seeing any result.
So first Quality is better than Quantity.
i would Recommend to create for EX : 10 PR4 Links than 10 PR0 links.

Also check for Edu links they are very valuable.

 

To get high page ranks on google is not difficult but it takes hardwork. All you need is to create quality and relevant backlinks by blog commenting, forum posting and article submission.

 

find out how many links ur first competitor has from Y! inlinks stat. double the number, that's the number u need to beat

 

If you are doing your home work (link building ..) daily, keep that going on as what you are doing today will give you back after couple of months.

 

First get a quality content on your site. The content should have your keyword for that particular page. Use H1 tag for your targeted keyword. Make a new site map and submit it on Google. Create RSS feds for your site and submit them. Use image and alt tags on your site. Check if your site have any W3c error, if the site have any make them clear. Do link exchange. try all these and check the results.

First make your content fresh and attractive to visitors than create meta tags for your website, than make good quality links for your website.These are the main points which give u improved ranking.

I think it will take time. My site is now on the first page (top 5 result) and I am not doing as much as what you are doing. I am just advertising through Adgitize and Entrecard. More of my investment goes to onsite optimization. My blog posts focus on the keywords I would like to optimize, the same thing with their tags and categories. When I exchange links, I see to it that the anchor text is my target keyword.
