I have seen many sites talking about Google's 30 penalty. I just want to know if it actually exist. If Yes, what is the reason for this particular penalty and how can a website overcome from it
Yes it exists. Reasons for this are: 1. Bad neighborhoods 2. non-301 redirects, 3. Malware 4. Hidden words, unnatural text, doorway farm, keyword stuffing 5. Plagiarism To over come from this penalty just do it. 1. Remove bad neighborhoods like porn site links from your site and spammy sites from your website. 2. Use redirects rather cloacking. 3. Use network security programmes anti virus and spywares removers, beware when use to choose web hosting services. 4. Do not spam tactics for showing different content to user and different to search engines,avoid keyword stuffing. 5. Do not use copy content and try to serve fresh content to search engine.

The -30 filter is a penalty that Google applies to web sites that use spammy SEO techniques. If Google applies the penalty to a web site, the rankings of that site are downgraded by 30 positions.
There is nothing about -30penalty in Webmaster tool. Can you please provide a link. I wonder how you can suggest us to look on the wrong place. Maybe you have seen it on Webmaster tool and we missed, Please provide a link.
Yeah right deepak this is the list of penalty causes which is described by Google,so that means I have to write it as it is,I can not edit this by my own.That means not copied from some where just posted the content from Google. Answer to over come from these points are my own experienced evaluations from practice deepak,
Beware from untrusted hosts and shared hosting.Choose dedicated hosting where only can your site access storage and hosting services,in shared hosting there may some chance to get hacked and get harm by other site which are sharing same space.
lol, wow I guess you learn something new everyday. I think I have experienced this before but didn't know there was a technical name for it. I now have a better idea how to get out of it.

Yes 30 panelty a truth that no one can negate it is the most frequent update that shook the website world it really hampered so many businesses

You should have been more clear in your question and asked if there was a term -30 myth in the google rulebook. You want to know a specific answer from Big G you will not usually get it if you have been in this business for more than a few years you would know how G works. Just like in the link you provided there is NOBODY from Google responding to threads they won't put their name on anything except for Matt C all users in that forum are Experienced users and global terminology is not across the board. Regardless penalties exist. If -6 -30 or whatever is myth then getting sand boxed is a myth too right?.....but we all know it is not a myth different people refer to terms differently I have colleagues that refer to sand box as -1k penalty. Getting out of the penalty depends on your infraction and if you take the rights steps to correct it! Any way I just got another frign post count .....weeeeeeeee

Dear Cabo, I am not saying that you are wrong, but you said earlier that read in your webmaster tool for -30 penalty. And I think you know better that there are no such terms used by Google.
There is no argument that such a think does not exist.. Whatever the penalty may be called.. If you do any of the above that gopi_krishan mentioned.. you should get into the bad books with google... I would also add there over optimising.. getting too many keyword heavy anchor text backlinks.. faced that problem.. dropped 30+ positions and couldn't recover for really long time
