depends on how the buyer bought it, was it direct on your CC?.. if then, just closed the account, but before that, transfer your funds or get your funds first. goodluck.

The only difference it makes between keeping an account open or closing it is how easy it is for anybody to come after you - if it is decided you owe money.
Possession of disputed amount always helps - but if you are the one at fault and the person or bank you owe the money to know where you are, you will end up paying in the end, unless you can prove on the balance of probabilities that you don't owe the money.
You can claim a chargeback on a credit card for something you paid for - but if the seller has contract documents to prove you owe the money, your bank will end up paying on your behalf. Then it becomes a question of whether they can find you - or whether it's worth looking. Either way, your credit rating will be damaged unless you pay up.
Even if you have been cheated, you need to show your bank written evidence to prove it - otherwise you will be at risk.
Always make copies of contact terms and conditions and print website images (using cutepdf) before agreeing to any online contract then keep copies of invoices etc.
