I'm a freelancer since 2004 i worked on over 400 projects and for hundred of people I even hired freelancers myself ... 1 First situation : When you say to people you are a freelancer most of them look at you very strange and pity you something like Look at this looser he hasn't a job poor guy ... (when they are the loosers with there crapy jobs and freedom = 0) 2 Second situation : On freelance sites or even on forums or here ... you see people coming and posting projects and expect 2k work done for 100$ and expecting freelancers to be like somekind of slaves ... (the sad part is that many beg to get such projects ...) What are your opinions views ?
Yes both situations are right. I don't know why people do heavy work at such low prices. Also, they think that by dropping their price they will get more sales. And they do provide the work done in low price but with crap quality.
Freelancers work at low prices initially to gain trust.but people never believe or trust most freelancers. Sad
Now we are not talking about trus as that's another story since many are scambugs and cheat clients and i personaly i am sick an tired of all the "seo experts" around (i can't talk about orher niches) but when i see some of my competition how pathetic they are i wonder if it's time to quit freelancing i never go down on projects many time it happens i win projects where i bid 2-4k and evrybody else mostly those "seo experts" bidded 300-400$ ... But this is not the discussion now The discussion is why freelancers (being a freelancer) is seen by some people like being homless or not having future or stability and by many people/comapanies they only see some cheap slaves ...
