Do you click on adsense ads because you're interested in the advertisement from a consumer point of view, when visiting websites? If you don't, then why expect other people to? If you're not interested in advertisements and clicking on them why do you expect other people to be interested in them? Here's a tip, if you're building a site that you wouldn't personally use or you wouldn't want a family member using or you think is rarther pointless other than it could just by the off chance make a few dollars don't do it. I use a rule in the internet business and that's if I wouldn't use my own website, product or service don't expect others people to.
Sure i click if i see interesting ad.Sometimes i even want to click on my own ads, because i can see sometimes really interesting ones, but too bad i can't , so i won't click of course.
When I see an interesting ad, most of the times I copy the URL and visit the site instead clicking the ad. I tend to protect the advertisers more, as most of the times I'm not buying what they have to offer. Why waste their money? Any one else follow this philosophy?
They shouldn't expect every click to convert anyway so why does it matter so much? There's no 100% conversion.
I don't click on google ads even if I am using a public computer. Last time I clicked on a google ad was I think way back before I joined adsense in 2008. After I joined this program I have made this my habit that I never ever click on any type of ads(other networks included). If I am really tempted to know what is behind a certain google ad I type its url in address bar and check it.
Let me clear this issue .. Webmaster / blogger already knew about google adsense but those people who works only offline business they will do because they don't know anything about google adsense or adwords ..
With so many crap you say all the time how i dont see you replay crap to your self??? You are a Loser,i dont like you dick face, dont ever reply to my comments again...
True, but I just feel that way. I was about to point out this issue. Most internet users and specially new internet users have no clue about it. Many of them would think it's a part of that site's content.
Calm down buddy. I know he is rude. But he really makes me laugh like hell at times. You will laugh too.
I'm not sure IMers are the best place to ask. You may know that already, nothing wrong with asking another group. But you know, before I was a an IMer I resented the ads. I took steps to block them. I wouldn't click them just because they were there. Now I didn't understand, I know that but it still affects many that way. I'm kind of preprogrammed not to click AdSense now because of the fear of clicking my own ads. I can't believe I'm the only IMer that doesn't suffer from that. Still, I do click from time to time but almost never on any AdSense add that has the word free in it. On the rare occasion I do, they are not free. What the ads lead to seems to have improved over the years. In the past, nearly everything I saw on Google Ads was crap. Not always true now. Better products out there. That's good!
Hey Marl, don't let them get to you. If you really do see a pattern where someone slams you're ever post, click on the triangle and report it. I had a witch doing that to me once and I tried ignoring her but that didn't work. Then I clicked the triangle and reported it. I was very nice in my report and explained it fully. Her post was removed and I've not heard from her since. You're gonna get some attitude on forums. Never attack back, it just doesn't help you. I even told that girl that was stalking my post that I admired the love she enjoyed spreading around the world and this forum. Kill them with nice then report them
@marl09 Mate there is already so much pain and suffering in the real world. Wouldn't it be better if we only talk about love and try to help each other around here. If you think somebody is attacking you here best thing to do will be to just ignore them or press the report post button and let the moderators decide. Attacking back won't solve your problems. On the other hand I think Project Mobius's post wasn't rude at all you overreacted and called him a dick face which is very rude IMHO.
I click most of the ads on Google search pages Sometimes I find them more relevant than the search listings I am looking for
