To provide more security to our gmail Account, Google just launched two-factor authentication service. It is something like when we use online banking service. Here is the official post by Google if you need more details on it: Advance Sign-In Security I think it was needed as few months back one of my Gmail account has been hacked and I lost all contacts What do you think on this step of Google? Any thoughts?
Yeah smart way of getting your phone numbers. First they did it for new signups, now time for existing users. Next time they'll come to your bedroom by giving security reason. Ahem Ahem! Can we have some privacy???
I'm sure that it's less about getting your personal information rather than making your accounts less able to be hacked. It would be a PR disaster if they started to use your phone numbers for anything else.
I'd rather share my phone number with Google than have my account hacked, which has happened before to send SPAM email from my gmail account. I think the new authentication is a good idea and I will be checking it out.
Ya this new feature will help a lot, because now a days cyber crime increase very fast, so we all take care for this and protect ourself..
such a nice feature again first from google.. really nice feature to secure the accounts... i m looking forward into it..
