Well I for one have never said I do not beleive in it. I just question whether man can either postively or negatively affect it. I've said that just about every time this subject comes up. The hole in the ozone story isn't being sold much anymore now that patent-free Freon has been banned. It's still leaking out of old cars, refrigerators, and air conditioning systems but no one is pitching this heavier than air chemical as magically floating up and doing 6 amazing chemical reactions to eat the ozone like pacman. The argument will end when the libs pick something else to villify. A few more cool winters and summers may get them to make something else up that will sell more easily.
I'm guessing since most of us were becoming more educated about the issue, "limited UV filtration during months of zero sun", they had to move on. With Global warming, they have all bases covered: 1. Earth warms up, Global warming is the cause. 2. The 70's predicted ice age happens, Global Warming is the cause. 3. Nothing happens, Global warming is the cause, because weather has to change. Btw, I'm selling Global Warming bumper stickers, to raise money for my favorite fund, me. Where there is a cause, there is money to be made. tom
You know what? We haven't had many earthquakes in California lately. I guess the earth was all crunchy and now global warming has softened up the earth's crust. Maybe I should get me a big old grant to research this a bit more.
