Seeing we're missing a few members I thought I might add yet another thread to show up the USA. Seems they're not only picking on overseas Muslims now. Just look how they're treating this guy. God himself told this guy to behead his wife so what do the Americans do? Instead of hailing him as the obvious prophet he is, they lock him up...sheesh, I thought they were into tolerance, it seems they're greater than God now. Oh the arrogance of these people is astounding!
Lol. Ok, that's just awful. Funny as hell, but awful. Oh well, he's gonna have a captive audience to work with in his effort to erase negative stereotypes now... For at least 25 years or so.
Just because the guy shouting, "the stereotypes aren't true" happens to fit the stereotype perfectly, still doesn't make the stereotype universally applicable. The story does remind me of a certain someone living in Malaysia who justifies sex with children and operates a web site with the title "Muslim responses to anti-Muslim polemics"(as well as a few porn sites). Perhaps what is more accurate to say is that those who simply coin the stereotypes as "Anti-Islamic" without addressing some of the very real problems behind the stereotypes, are more likely to fit the stereotype.
The above quote was not mentioned in the tape.....nothing in the video associated the crime with being a Muslim, only that they were Muslim and worked together in representing their religion. "...one week after being issued divorce notice" - is the actual by-line of the story. Was the crime in response to being served the divorce papers and his response was religious conviction derived from Islam - if so he is in the wrong country and either / or should be dealt with severely irregardless as that religion must change. Otherwise the OP is stereotyping a religious issue as distinctly Muslim in nature when all the textural religions have similar discourse in regrades to the impropriety of religious oriented marital relationships both within and outside of the "contractual" relationship.
Breeze Wood, I agree. I probably should have had Bad TV execs as the real title as in reality, there's less of them than Muslims so is more likely lol. - ie: 1/1,000,000 muslims as opposed to 1 in 6,000 execs. More likely bad TV execs... but that wouldn't have made it in here, and I thought the story needed sharing, because it was obviously a religious ideal in his head.
I believe that was the point Breeze was so ineloquently arguing against. On a scale of badness, ranging from one to ten, what score would you give the TV Exec as opposed to the score you would give the guy who lopped off his wife's head?
It only exemplifies the flawed nature of Islam as expressed by Koranic Muslims if Bushranger is correct. The point though is the connection to religion for the crime is not really made in the video.
Well i'm not into Muslim TV but if they keep rotating The Brady Bunch (which I enjoyed the first time round), or the new version, Gene Simmons Family Jewels (which I absolutely love), then he gets a big fat 0 on badness (family entertainment ) But, if he's constantly harping on how Allah wants you to behead your wife then he gets a 10. We're still on his TV side here. For his Muslim side - 10. I don't believe there's a 'normal' Muslim (or Christian) in existence. Simply identifying oneself as, and heeding to, an old dead guy to get through to God IMHO is itself strange. Then you move on to beheading because it's okay by your God, in fact tells him that he must, well that definately gets a 10 for badness. Even if he's supposedly doing it to save her from 'God's' wrath, he's still an idiot. Were you thinking that it's not incredibly flawed?
And yet you have no problem connecting every bump in the DJIA to something Obama might have done. You've never come across as a guy who is two interested in facts.
Not in the least - textural Islam. From your video there simply is no evidence religion played a role in the crime that is the pretext for your thread. ........... O...nation DJIA 12,239.89 + 6.74 ...... Present Administration Feburary 9, 2011 DJIA 6501 -8,359 from 14860 ....... The Bush Administration and a 1.4 trillion dollar deficit.
Yup, agreed, Muslim's aint necessarily evil people. I don't think Obamanation's character is evil, just slightly misguided. But let's look at it from my angle: 1) You are God, as I keep reminding all you Gods out there, hence if he told himself to do it, then God told him to do it. 2) The presenter makes a point a number of times mentioning he's a Muslim, started a Muslim TV station to stop stereotyping Muslims. Ap is a respected organisation, I don't think they would bring that up if it wasn't relevant. 3) We're missing some members and not getting the regular we hate America' or Muslim's are bad because fix that we normally do. 4) Bored with work at the time I thought I would solve 1, 2, 3 & 4. ftr: I don't hate America, I just hate liars, wherever they are. The bashing on America was done in jest and I thought I made it so plainly obvious with the wording of the OP.
Your numbers are off. 1) The DJIA was around 9k when Obama took over. It was around 13365 when the Democrats took over both houses of congress. The 6501 number happened under Obama. Thanks Obama . 2) Bush retired on a 600 billion dollar deficit. Obama ran 1.6 trillion his first year. Thanks Obama . Its also unfair to tack the whole 600 billion dollar deficit on Bush, since it looks like TARP I will get repaid. Anyway, we digress. You are making the argument that the video doesn't show a causal relationship between the man's religion and the beheading of his wife, yet you are willing to vomit out all these correlations between the DJIA and Obama and say, "LOOK! OBAMA DID IT!!". Wouldn't it make more sense to give him credit for things he had direct signatory control over, like two consecutive budgets with deficits in excess of 1.5 trillion dollars? If not, we will need to talk about persistent unemployment near 10%, and I know you don't want to do that. /Hijack off.
The DJIA in Oct 07 @ 14,198 - in March of 09 at 6469 bottom, three months into the present Administrations tenure: Today the Dow closed at 12239 and the Republican recession, deepest since the Great Depression was curtailed in June of 09 that started in Dec. 07. ......... Bushranger, the crime speaks for itself.... From your video there simply is no evidence religion played a role in the crime other than he was a Muslim.
According to statistics, in united states 3 women and 1 man gets killed by their intimate partners per day. Why don't we get other threads with the title of christian man, atheist man etc? why didn't you reported this one Pizza worker killed girlfriend and ‘grilled her on the barbecue’ with the title of "Bad Christians with in the US"?
Right. So the DJIA hits 14198, right before the Democrats take over congress in 2008, and it drops to 9k around 2009 when Obama takes office, at which point it falls all the way to 6469. Obama futzes around for two years and and only manages to get it back up to 11,577, 2500 points over where he took office, and still 3500 points lower than when the Democrats took over both houses. The Republicans swept the house and six seats in congress and BAM! The index shoots up almost 600 points in 40 days! Obviously the Republicans rule is the only thing that can save our economy! As I said earlier Breeze, its good fun watching you use the correlation of a single statistic to hail Obama as the cause of all things good relating to the economy, while out of the other side of your mouth you try and point out the lack of a causal relationship between this man's beliefs and the beheading of his wife. It would be interesting to see how many of them beheaded their wives
... the lack of a causal relationship between this man's beliefs and the beheading of his wife. A casual relationship with his auto mechanic has as much to do with it as well, O....idiot. It is obvious why you are unable to Trade yourself and have others manage your account. I suggest you have them enter your political / religious commentary as well.
