Google did change the algorithm recently to weed out garbage web sites like most of you people have. I'm glad to see it working so well.

Seeing a modest rise in traffic myself, I don't sit there camping my own SERPs so I wouldn't know if there's a difference.

The Algorithm was updated in the end of January. Then why it is affecting rankings after 12+ days. I think Google is not that slow.. I have seen few sites dropped in the end of January..;) When the algorithm was updated. http://www.webmasterworld.com/google/4258897.htm

And at that time, my websites have got a great uplift in the rankings.

Well, still confused if it is dance or Google algorithm update.

I have read the article but I still dont get why the site would be affected in a space of 3 hours yesterday. Whatever the article is about doesnt really apply to the site which has unique and original content only.

I have checked my SERPS again this morning and all pages are still down. It has not yet be 24 hours since the drop so I shall be patient and cross my fingers

Even i don't have any idea about it , My site SERP result also up and down with some particular keywords but no one can know the actual reason behind it.
The question is that why google dance and what the reason behind it?
Can anyone give the strong answer of this question?

No. I have a legitimate business that sells real products and services. When you search for my companies, they are all number one on the listing. No tricks. Nothing underhanded. Just the goodness people on the web want. Not spam like your sites.

Who do you think you are to tell all of us that we dont have legitimate sites and that our sites are garbage?

My site has been the number 1 UK bingo comparison site for the past 2 years and we provide a good service to our users allowing them to save money and getting good information, help and structure. All content is original and the fruit of thousands of hours of work and research.

If you haven't got any other comments but insults dont participate to this thread!

Your Bingo link doesn't work and your Casino site looks like just a forum, if that. Face it, 99% of everyone here has sites just to get income from ads. Pure, unadulterated garbage we can do without.

Pretty sure this is to do with the announced change to algorithm, specifically to do with duplicate content. So in short if you "borrowed" content my advice is to fix that asap! Not cause panic but i believe some of crap content sites will pay on SERPS in the coming days.

Thanks for the tip but unfortunately I dont have a ny duplicate content (I say unfortunately because if I did at least I would know how to fix it).

Today I have mixed results. Some of keywords are gradullay going back up (but slowly) and some are still going down. It has now been almost 48 hours since the drop occurred.

Will keep everyone posted so that we may have a feedback on a real event and try to see a pattern. I am still backlinking and also have added new content and re-optimised a few pages. I shall continue doing so and monitor the ranking progress.
