South Korea is a wealthy industrialised nation with the highest rate of broadband connection in the world.

Koreans may be a minority in the U.S. but as Asians they are part of the world majority and deserve as much UN representation as any other nation.

 

Clearly South korea is not developed as you all might be saying it is industrilized THAT DOESNT MEAN DEVELOPED!, yes it has a huge population SO DOES CHINA AND IT IS NOT DEVELOPED! AND INDIA! on the other hand Switzerland IS DEVELOPED, ok, so i get where im going. is not about quantity its quality!!!!! think about that for awhile.

 

How old are you really ? ... Did you went outside and see the world ?
Are these countries undeveloped ?
Greece, Portugal, Spain, Israel ? ...

You do know that South Korea is 10th largest economy in the world ?

Crazy bigots. South Korea IS developed! They have better cell phones, public transportation, and INTERNET access than we do. South Korea is the #1 nation for broadband internet. They operate on 4g cell phone networks while we are on 2g. They have vastly superior public transportation.

So if you're going to compare to South Korea, then underdeveloped america should not be allowed anywhere near the UN. We have the worst public transportation, internet access, cell phones, etc. of the west. We're just big fat consumers, with a booming service sector that has to work overtime to support the big fatso's.

China isn't developed yet. But South Korea is, so shut your racist mouth. Research before you spout your bigoted hateful remarks. We know the UN is corrupt but stop badmouthing Korea.

This "south korean dude" is a very professional diplomat, not a corrupt kleptocrat like Annan. We got the best possible candidate of all the ones running, IMO.

I'm going to Korea next month. I can vouch that they are vastly more technological than the US. I buy all my electronics there.

Oh and South Korea is #10 for GDP, and your Switzerland is #18.
