how could i set my files "premium only". i don't want to leechers steal my files. leechers doesn't remote upload premium only files. password is not good option for this.

Yes these thieves remote upload other host and re-remote upload to filesonic but it's not easy task. Please stop filesonic to filesonic remotee upload. Uploaders sick of these thieves. i upload a file and 5-6 people copy my files instantly and posts hundreds of forums.

If you go a few pages back this has been discussed. Unfortunately there is no solution other than password protecting your files. I suggest you create a blog if you don't have one to post your content. Put your files in rar archives with a link to back to your blog. This isn't a fix for your problem but it will allow you to get some of your download traffic back from the leechers.

there is a solution : "premium only" files. but only a few people have these option i guess. you can't remote upload if file set "premium only" flag.

i have a big problem... if a member is not a premium he can not download my files...

all my folders are the same but for an exemple take this one :

filesonic.com/folder/291319

or this one

filesonic.com/folder/325431

do a right click on these folder links to copie the files in it and you will see that all the files appear in jdownloader but not the first one (the part 1)

Only premium members can remote upload... So this option will not help you.

Unfortunately, we can not stop FS to FS RU... Anyway, any user can RU to another host and RU back to FS very easily!

Premium only options is like forcing people to buy premium to download, same like buying CDs, DVDs from stores to see movies. which is not a good option both to uploaders & filesonic.

Immediate negative effect, suppose a leecher (premium member) downloads the files & re-uploads in same forum in free mode. this will divert the traffic to him & eventually original uploader gets blacklisted getting hardly no traffic.

Currently only way to minimize the effect is as FXXXB comment, to add info about forum thread page or site url, so that some traffic will get diverted to original uploaders thread/site. also for multi archive files final few files need only be password protected with site url or forum username & it must be stated in filesonic description field, this will ensure sales not affected (as sales buyers usually buy sales from 1st part of rar archives) also will minimize fs to fs remote uploading to some extent.

This is a Jdownloader bug. Please submit a support email to them so they can correct the bug.

 

are you sure ? because some of my folder links works fine.
