See why would you say that? So your telling me every american voted bush in a second time? Then every american voted for obama because you wanted change? Why would you have voted for change if you loved bush so much. Get real! I've excepted england's government is not here for us. We never even voted our government in. When you look at the facts... the one with the most money wins. Who controls the money flows? The federal reserve in america and the bank of england over here. Surprise surprise.... They are owned by the same FAMILY! The Rothschild's first set up the federal reserve in america then used the defeat of Napoleon to crash the market in england to then set up the bank of england to make sure such a thing could never happen again. Abraham Lincoln died trying to protect your "freedom". Abraham Lincoln worked valiantly to prevent the Rothschild's attempts to involve themselves in financing the Civil War.

Interestingly, it was the Czar of Russia who provided the needed assistance against the British and French, who were among the driving forces behind the secession of the South and her subsequent financing. Russia intervened by providing naval forces for the Union blockade of the South in European waters, and by letting both countries know that if they attempted to join the Confederacy with military forces, they would also have to go to war with Russia.

The Rothschild interests did succeed, through their agent Treasury Secretary Salmon P. Chase, to force a bill (the National Banking Act) through Congress creating a federally chartered central bank that had the power to issue U.S. Bank Notes. Afterward, Lincoln warned the American people:

"The money power preys upon the nation in time of peace and conspires against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy. I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me, and causes me to tremble for the safety of our country. Corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people, until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands, and the republic is destroyed. "

In 1835, President Andrew Jackson declared his disdain for the international bankers:

"You are a den of vipers. I intend to rout you out, and by the Eternal God I will rout you out. If the people only understood the rank injustice of our money and banking system, there would be a revolution before morning."

Start opening your eye's to the fact your told through your whole life! The one with the most money has the most power.

Edit: Hitler claimed emergancy powers for the staged burning of the Reichstag. As your government did with 9/11 :

    CRS Report for Congress

The President of the United States has available certain powers that may be exercised in the event that the Nation is threatened by crisis, exigency emergency circumstances (other than natural disasters, war, or near-war situations). Such powers may be stated explicitly or implied by the Constitution, assumed by the Chief Executive to be constitutionally permissible, or inferred from or specified by statute. Through legislation, Congress has made a great many delegations of authority in this regard over the past 200 years. This "Congressional Research Service Report" shows how these emergency powers have been used to nullify provisions and protections of the U.S. Constitution.

I don't think you understand how our government works. We are a form of democracy known as a Representative Republic. We vote for people to represent us. Not one or the other, not just Bush, not just Obama. But from our local governments in our local cities, states, and municipalities all the way up the chain to the federal government.

A good example of this is in the balance of power we have right now. A lot of Americans voted for Obama, yes.. they wanted hope and change. And a lot of Americans also voted for a new Congress, cause again, they still wanted that hope and change.

In doing so, voicing a single vote the entire program can be changed, bettered, worsened, or completely balanced. There's never enough of one vote, one party or presence of an all powerful dictator to take us in a direction that cannot be completely changed for the better or worse. Its what keeps our system of government working and keeps us from turning into what others have become.

I know how our government's work. The point i am making is, how sure are you that our government structure as pure as it once was has maintained that pureness to this present day. Specially with the infiltration of money.

Last November seemed to purify it quite a bit.
I'd imagine in less than 2 years, it will be completely purified.

Fwiw, while I'm not even close to onboard with Hypokill's idea that declaring an emergency on 911 is even marginally similar to anything Hitler did (Hitler wore two shoes... Bush wore two shoes... see the similarity?! My God man... it's staring us in the face!!!)... neither do I think having a bone to pick with some issues within the US government constitutes "hating all Americans". At least I hope not, cause I'd be guilty of the same thing, and I'm pretty sure there's at least 2 or 3 Americans on my Christmas list. :2 cents

Well i'm glad you agree that i don't hate american's because like i said i really don't. That statement would also make out i hate my own country (which i am actually quite patriotic for what we were) As far as i see it... Many men have lost their live's in both our country's trying to protect us as a people, as an idea and our beliefs. If the men of england who layed down their lives through both world wars and beyond could see the state of our country now. They would tell you right now the very idea and people they died for are being exploited in every way by our government. An old man said to me last week, Were turning into Nazi germany. I don't know about you but i'd like to bring back the pureness of our government. The government was put in place to work for the people, now the people work for the government. Controlled by fear and kept sweet by lies. No government doing the job of working for the people should ever lie to it's people.

Ftr, if anyone here's ever seen my blog (according to my stats I'm guessing that's not a large crowd) they'd know I've criticized my own government a helluvalot for someone that's perceived in here as being in the "my country right or wrong" category. No government is flawless, and holding politicians accountable is the only way to clean house as needed.

I'm just glad to be in one of the countries where the system allows for regime changes based on public opinion without them happening at gunpoint. I look at the guys in Egypt right now and think if any leader here attempted to maintain the presidency for three decades thru rigged elections and a state of emergency that lasts longer than most people in this forum have been alive, he'd long since have been impeached and replaced.

That's the thing I like about the setup we have... We don't have a perfect bunch of leaders, but we do have a system that allows us to make improvements. Bad part is our electorate has been known to make some really bad calls.

I'm not sure what pureness you are referring to. Perhaps it was the legislated enslavement of African Americans, the Trail of Tears, diseased blankets to kill off a native population, Jim Crow laws, Japanese internment camps, or railroads built with near slave labor.

Thomas Paine phrased it well when he said:

"Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one."

Things are not perfect now, but this too shall pass, perhaps after the tree of liberty has been refreshed.

Though don't you think such a pureness "should" or could exist. In my opinion a president/prime minister should be on the streets talking to the people without the need for bodyguards. If the job was done properly they wouldn't class their own people as a threat.

Pakistani's don't need to come through the southern boarder. They will come through any port at any time like they have done from the start, illegally or legally.

Should, yes. Could, no. In a perfect world, Sports Illustrated swimsuit models would wait on me hand and foot while dressed in nothing more than a teddy and high heels. Now back to reality. That type of naivety and blind idealism are very dangerous.

Tell that to congresswoman Giffords. A country shouldn't have to have a military, and consider all it's neighbors as threats either. The truth is, good fences make good neighbors.

You make fine points! For the Pakistanis, they've been coming to america and england for a long time. Though i am really interested in what this alliance with Pakistan against terrorism means. Most likely a lot, though our news won't report half of it.

ROFL. Looked at the forum and all I saw was mystic91 posts. 48 posts in 56 minutes could be a speed/endurance record. You not only type quicker than me, you apparently read threads faster. My hat is off to you for this valuable addition to public discourse. :)

Same. I was going to report the obvious spammer but he's putting short answers relevant to the thread so I didn't. Not sure if that actually breaks the rules, just doesn't add anything to the convo. Note to self: don't pay attention to any thread he has posted last in.
