You can add "atom.xml?redirect=false" this line in your sitemap section of your google webmasters tools for your blogger blog, It will bring all your posts in search engine..
Just like this, feeds/posts/default that's for general feeds/posts/default?postID=fillthiswithyourpostidnumber for specific, the feeds is same, but it can help your blog to get more friendly with Search Engine robot
I had no luck with my atom.xml nor with rss.xml, google webmaster tool was giving an error(invalid url)! Finally I made it work by copying the sitemap url which is present in the robots.txt file. The feed url will be similar to <url>/feeds/posts/default?orderby=updated.
I appreciate the time put in by everybody in this thread. I have followed all the suggestions that have been given by different users but somehow on my blogger blog I the Google Webmaster Tools shows only 52 pages that have been indexed. If I use the xml-sitemaps.com tool I'm returned with a xml that shows that there are 254 pages on the blog! Is it safe to assume that all the pages of my blogger blog have been indexed irrespective of the fact that Google Webmasters Tools is showing only 52 pages? Thanks in advance.
If you want to create a sitemap manually then you can read here: How to create google sitemap manually . But creating sitemap manually will take time .
How about trying this: This is your blogspot rss feed: xxxxx.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss Input it here: www.xml-sitemaps.com
atom.xml or rss.xml is the bestway to create sitemap eg. yourblog.blogspot.com/atom.xml or yourblog.blogspot.com/rss.xml..... try it
Can site map like this work? I'm thinking to start a blog and i dont know whether its allowed in google webmaster tool /atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
Thanks friends. I really didn't know much about sitemap for blogspot especially. Thanks for sharing this information.
So you don't need to make a sitemap for a blogger blog to submit to google because google owns blogger and they know how to crawl the site. Jeesh it's one of those things that are so obvious you just don't see it. Thanks folks.
