is anyone else having some delays between ftp upload and the file showing up in FM?

In group A countries for every 100, 200 downloads at least 1 sale is bought by people in those countries, while in other countries sale conversion is much higher like for every 500, 1000 downloads etc. This why filehosting sites place such kind of country tiers to target more downloads from these high converting countries.

 

Remote uploading is working very slow status is showing as 100% downloaded but moving status is pending for long time

 

It happens most of the time, but this delay is only a few minutes.

Hish, just to let you know i have done the calculations.
From the day i joined "playsonic" to this day, i have had 18 sales..
however, i have only 1700 credits..which shows that there was probably a problem the occurred during the operation the IT guys did when trying to give me the missing 100 credits..

I think it depend on file sizes, I usually upload in small rar parts.

 

there were 2 350MB files, not sure what happened but I am counting them lost in cyber space lol. I already uploaded them via web upload since. I'll try a smaller file in a little while just to check.

Understand this is the same for all hosts, but, in my humble opinion isn't correct, so, to uploaders you pay less than other countries, however to buy is the same for all countries...

I work and spent hours like other to have more downloads, and someone that luckily is in country that belongs Group A, receive the double from me....It's unfair...!

Yep. FTP has not been functioning for at least 4 hours. I sent a PM to FileSonic but have not yet received a reply. This usually means they do not have a fix. Generally, FileSonic will only reply to a technical problem after the problem has been solved.

 

Still the same issue, plz could you fix it Hish ?

 

It's not unfair. The reason there are tiers are because Group A countries generate more income for FileSonic than do Group C & D countries. FileSonic and other hosts generously share those increased revenues with you. The other option is for file hosts to pay all countries at the lowest level. If you are not generating enough downloads from Group A & B countries, it is because you're posting in forums dominated by users from C & D countries. This is your fault, not FileSonic's.

It would be so great if FILESONIC considered Portugal in Group B, like FILESERVE...

 

can you add Turkey in C group

All are listed as "pending" except one I ul'd to ftp.eu which is not listed.

 

remote uploads are also in "pending" status..
