1st page in 30 days - is it real ?

I googled "unmetered dedicated server" and it has just over 200,000 search results. That is a fairly non-competitive keyword. I did a lot of backlink building and SEO work for about 2 months, not DEDICATED every day work, about 3 times a week, for a keyword in my niche with pretty much the same competition, and after around 2 months, I got a double listing.

It's certainly very possible.

If you pick good keywords you can get ranked pretty quickly. Traffic Travis shows that it's relatively easy to rank for the keyword and the #1 site only has 20 backlinks. However, I'm not 100% sure that you could be on the first page in 30 days.

Hi I just did some quick research for you on market samurai.


Based on these results it is quite possible to get to the first page of google in 30 days (See explanation below), however you should still ask for money back guarantee specially if the guy is asking you to pay an arm and a leg.



There are a few factors to consider when trying to rank in google - these factors include both on-page and off-page seo.

Onpage seo include - URL, Title, Description, Header, Meta Tags, H1, H2 and H3 Tags,

As you can see only the first result is really optimised with these factors , aka it has
- the keyword in it's URL (an exact match domain - this is actually a huge factor)
- the keyword in Title tag of the page ('URL' Column above - the second column)
- the keyword density is high in the url ('URL' Column above - the column b/w 'Title' & 'Desc' - this is relevant when domain name is not exact, but the keyword is still in the URL field)
- the keywords is also used in the Description ('DESC' Column above)
- the keyword is not in the header column - so this is not optimised.

Offpage seo factors include Total backlinks (huge factor), Backlinks from .edu & .gov, (these are the main factors) others include domain age, number of pages on the website, Google PR of the page etc.

Above you can see that the total number of backlinks 'BLP' to the page are only 21, total number of backlinks to the domain 'BLPD' are the same - since the first result is the domain itself.

There are however no backlinks from 'BLEG' (.edu and .gov) website - so just getting a few links from there will help you boost your rankings.

Also it is not listed in 'DMZ' - DOMZ the largest and possibly most prestigious and highly ranked directory listing. It is also not listed on 'YAH' the yahoo listing.

If you look at the rest of the results on this search you notice that none of the the other results are even slightly optimized for this search term. Which tell you that you can probably take them very easily.

A few quality .edu and .gov backlinks, some backlinks from article directories and possibly syndicated blogging networks will have you ranking for this search term in no time.

It depends on keywords' competition. I am not sure, because you have not provided any data about that. Please stay safe. Black hat SEO can damage you.

 

Google says that it has very low search volume and is highly competitive. Even if this person got you on page #1 without cheating (which is doubtful considering the competition) then it's not going to help you a lot with the low level of searches.

 

It Sounds good, Suggestion is to check the way he/she doing SEO, I mean if that person using Black Hat or any other unethical techniques it may affect adversely.

 

If there is an expert team behind that guy or he has some extra ordinary tips to ranking top in the search engine, 30 days are reasonable.Acces to edu , gov sites or high pr sites( pr 8 etc) give an indication that your site might get top within short span of time.

 

I wouldn't believe him. SEO myths are so common these days. Nobody can tell you how well you'll rank - its not possible.

 

Well, it is possible. If he know what he is doing, then he can do it in no time. besides, it's not that hard to do since there is a very low competition involve with that keyword.

 

I think you have go with him and make a DEAL payment after ranking comes.

Yes 1st page on google for 3 word keyword is possible. Normally we say it takes 3 months, but that is because that is not the priority work But yes, it can be done in a month too. If you wanna check the traffic you can always check in the statcounter site, it give the whole detail of where the source come from to your blog / website.

 

Well i dont think anybody can offer an SEO services without taking an upfront, rest as far as concern in one month it could be but only if the keyword has low competition. OR else its sure SEO affects after 2-3 months. I am afraid if he try to fool Google you might have been into sandbox.
