Hi, I've got a wallpaper download site ... has lots of very soft porn images in there. By that I mean, shots of celebrities showing their breasts. I would say that 30% of the wallpapers in my db are like this. The rest are fully clothed. Is Google adsense going to shut my acct down? What would be the best advertising alternative for this sort of content? Thanks friends .... J.
I am sure google adsense will banned your account any time soon. Source: https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms
Yeah as real-skinner points out, any nudity is pretty much considered a pornographic image in the eyes of adsense. Best to keep away from them if you want to keep your account
As long as its not anything nudity your fine. Skimpy clothes dont count as being naked. People should know this by now.
Don't do it, I've been warned in the past by Google for having threads on a public forum which contained questionable images - these were very tame photos and they still needed to be removed.
take a chill-pill will ya's .... I havent gone live with this site yet, some of the pics are just girls in bikinis and some are topless. Obviously the topless ones are a no-no, so I was just wondering what is the acceptable limit. Bikinis are ok then ? Or should they be covered neck to knee?
Google are incredibley old-fashioned when it comes to terming pictures adult, including women in bikinis. They won't simply ban you with no warning though, initially they will email you with a link to the page with the picture/s they don't like (usually because some spotty oik reported you) and ask you to remove ads from that page. For example they asked me to remove ads from this page: http://www.girlspictures.org/displayimage-11-11.html saying it was adult content. I decided to remove google ads from every picture page, regardless of what they're wearing. I don't like scarey emails from adsense. To any normal person it's just a woman in a bikini, with big boobs admittedly, but just a woman nontheless. You'd hardly be bothered if your kids saw her down the beach, unless you were a hardline bible belter or a 1950's prude, but I think Google has to try to keep everyone happy, at least everyone in America, which includes the hardline bible belt wallers and 1950's moms/dads who'll write in and complain, oh yes they will. Most people use Adbrite instead, which is okay if you can get the visitor numbers up - but nothing nearly so good as Adsense unfortunately. Pocketcents worked all right for a while, but their ads stopped working a couple months ago, which they said would be fixed but it took ages so I lost interest. They might be worth checking out again though?
thanks astroman ... the pics that you have are of a similar nature to some of the ones I am considering ... I may have to cull them till I am left with only the very most modest ones
