I am working on a new online store
and would be targeting Only Indian market.

so I would like to receive payment in Indian Rupee
and I need to accept credit card.

Which payment processing you would recommend for the same.

FYI - India is on the Restircted Country list when it involves Visa/Mastercard Merchant Accounts. You may want to look
    at a third party processor.

Have a look at moneybookers.com as far as I know it works in India and we can recommend it. Very easy to set up and relatively cheap. We have had no issues with it unlike with Paypal.

I don't get it! Most people here are just posting to increase post counts rather then help the fellow. For you people that suggested google checkout, it's only for US merchant. Moneybookers not the best option since people have to sign up to pay. Since the OP mentioned India is on restricted list witch i'm not sure but your best option is www.ccavenue.com a third party processor.

    Hi

We at IHI Financial can assist. We offer an offshore merchant account solution. It will be a lot easier to set up and administer.

You may also contact the ICICI bank in India. They provide merchant services to Indian registered companies.

    Regards,

    Rafi

returning back to help all of you

    ebs , icici , ccavenue
are three of them most prefered and trusted gateway providers
    i opted for ebs.

as icici sales guys are very rigid and rude they do not talk and don't take much initiative while ebs guy was friendly able to answer help and provide right solution...
