Hey all....tough forum. I waited a few days to say hello because it really seems intimidating to post anything here at all. So the rebel inside me finally drove me to it. So sorry to the moderators for posting a hello here....I just had to do it.

I've been in internet marketing for several years now...6 to be exact. I've had some good times, and some bad. I've bought everything there is under the virtual sun. I've been fed the crap and shiny vector graphics and promises of gazillions of dollars while I slept. It wasn't until last year I hit a day at $1400.00 and then a couple days later another $1000 day. Naturally, as anything in internet marketing, that didn't last long. The internet changes sooo fast that you gotta keep up on everything daily.

There is one thing I have learned though that I want to share with everyone. Stop letting people fool you into the "new loophole" or the "mass money exploit revealed" and whatever else. All this stuff is cleverly designed to do just one thing.....empty your wallet and throw you into the "information overload zone". The most important thing you need to learn and understand, are the basics, that have always worked and are still working now. There are no tricks, no secrets, no loopholes, and no so called exploits. Having a great website with great content and building some backlinking on a continual basis, will do more than any guide you can buy out there. Make sure your website is error free, can be viewed on all browsers, and even more importantly in this day and age, mobile devices.

I've been at this since 2005. I know what works and I laugh at all the BS I see out there.

I'm a website designer, and also a graphics designer with a degree with graphic design and corporate branding. I know what colors will make you hungry, happy, or curiously calm ;) I'm also a website and marketing consultant with plenty of experience. Did I say I've done it all and seen it all?

I'm hoping I can come here and help some people out and steer you away from the nonsense of what doesn't work, to the good stuff that does. I know what a broken heart feels like when your dreams are shattered. I've had my dreams kicked around long enough by the gurus. Now it's time for some payback and bringing my open knowledge to DP.

Cheers to everyone and I wish you great success.

I'm sure it will be ok! I have been trying to post a new thread under contests. It does not allow me to do so. I am sure I have enough posts to be qualified to do so. Any idea why this may be the case?

Actually I was trying to post in Politics and Religion and it wont let me post there. I'm not sure why. I know your account has to be 14 days old and have a certain amount of posts in sections....and one of them is Politics and Religion. There's a hot top there I am trying to reply to and I can't and frankly...it's pissing me off.

Hi everyone! I'm brand new to Digital Point and I look forward to learning from all of you! Thank you for opening up this thread RedStar - it made me feel understood and right at home :) I've been scammed and ripped off too (like the majority of us have experienced at one point, I'm sure). I'm excited to know that removing myself (or bypassing) the so-called "guru" lists is the smart thing to do....I know my wallet's loving that choice! :)
