I usually do whitehat methods and I don't stick to black hat SEO. Black hat SEO is just for a short-term goal.

An autoblog is a blog that generates and publish content articles by itself each day (or each hour, you just have to program it as you want). It can uses any kind of feed related to your subject.

Black Hat" techniques are unethical methods that some Web site owners use to get their site listed on search engines (and to obtain a high search engine listing). Here's a list of three common "Black Hat" techniques you should avoid since they could get your site banned.

    1. Keyword stuffing: Keyword stuffing is the overuse of keywords in a piece of content. Generally, this is repeating the same keywords over and over just to achieve a higher search engine ranking.

    2. Invisible text: Quite a few cheap sites use this tactic, which involves making keywords to be the same color as the background, so readers can't see the massive amounts of keywords, but search engine spiders can.

    3. Doorway pages: These are pages that regular visitors cannot see, but search engine spiders can. They are used to trick the search engines so that the site gets a higher ranking. Not only do they go against the rules, but they also hurt the visitor's experience. Who wants to see a site stuffed with keywords?

One time I noticed a competitor of mine using the black hat method. He was using my name also in the background. He was penalized because I reported it to Google. Hidden text will show up if you view the website's html.

No that is not black hat. Do you know about keyword stuffing? If so, it is keyword stuffing where the human eye can not see, unless you view the html. But the search engines will see it not noticing it is keyword stuffing.

I don't use black hat tactics. Its not advisable to use. And if you want to get your site penalize by search engine and all of your hard work would go onto waste then black hat is one way to get that.

Like I previously said, black hat covers a large panel of different methods, so for me anything that is not natural seo could be assimilated to black hat... With paid links you're taking the risk to be penalized so it's a kind of black hat method...

If you are a major brand, you can get away with black hat techniques, since Google would look bad if a well known company didn't appear for their name. Remember the whole BMW incident?

So, like many things in life, what you can get away with is related to how influential you are perceived to be.

I'm playing the "white" hat method although I have some grey tricks up my sleeve as well.

I only use white hat search engine optimization techniques.

I don't think that I've ever used black hat search engine optimization techniques on any of my websites before, ;)

Black hat SEO is a big scam because of all the expensive tools, and for lazy people who doesnt want to do the proper job. It is disgusting especially when you compete against people who does that.

Blackhat is all about automatization. Those who can do it, have great results without much pain; those who can't or don't want too, have to compensate with great pain and struggle.

You're right, I completely agree with that! I can't understand why someone prefer doing some tasks manually if they could be done by using little bit of automatization.
