Scrapebox - VPN vs Private Proxies?

Public proxies don't work well with scrapebox.

I tried a free VPN and it had a much better success rate, but I quickly hit my bandwidth limit.

Now I am thinking of buying a VPN service, but some users say private proxies work well with scrapebox too.

Which is a better choice for scrapebox - private proxies or a VPN?

 

I use private proxies. I haven't got any problems with that.

 

Can you suggest me a good place to purchase these and how many would I need?

Just noticed that getvpn .net offers free VPN accounts. They have a limit of usage just for 1 hour but I registered 3 accounts already and was not banned in any way yet. A good point they say that this one hour can be devided into several times if you stay connected less than 60 minutes. They have just 1 USA IP ...

Alother limit is that you can not browse some secured sites (no https or ssl connections) but still if you require any fresh proxy - a nice choice.

Anyone used them already? It looks like they started not long time ago but I hope they will stay alive for a while

Software to me, could anyone be so nice to throw some light on it

 

It is automated and can be used for tasks like finding blogs to comment on, automated blog commenting, checking backlinks, pinging to feed services etc.

I have used YPP for quite some time. They answer questions and provide good support should you have any issues with the proxies. I use 60 proxies, however, I used them for quite more than just scraping for link building opp. 10 proxies are just fine for scraping, however, use with care b/c you can get the proxies banned...Best thing I can say is not to abuse the proxies. The more you have, the faster you can work.

 

use private proxies, cheaper, same good results for sb

 

proxy is not a safe option to go with...though i will recommend you VPN as it is safe and sound also allow you to access all the blocked websites around the world. I have been using VPN from last 6 months and never faced any issues with the bandwidth. Go for the paid one it will give you unlimited bandwidth. I am using StrongVPN. But you can go with HMA as it cheaper one...

 

If any of you guys need some private US proxies, I have almost 300 available right now. They work great with scrapebox.

 

In my opinion private proxies would work best for your situation...
