Rules Warning received - my effort is to understand better

    Just received an Warrning. Just trying to understand if my action was really inappropriate.

    So I need to report and not to post in the thread?

    What I did was initially I posted on the thread what's that link for? Then in couple of minutes I felt it might be a affiliate link and in anyways it may not be related to the post. So I decided to Report the Post.

    If you feel a post may be spam, report it and we will take a peep.

    I read the warning as a form of advice regarding be careful what you quote. If a member spams his site or posts an affiliate link, quoting the post just helps spread the spam further. If you want to respond to a questionable post just post, "memberid, what is that link for?"
