Flexible keywords

I am having some problems with one of my keyword phrases.
Currently I have one called kw power generators which is set to flexible.
When people search for kw power generators it appears, but if I search for 100 kw power generators, 100kw power generators, power generators 200kw or something similar it doesn't show? Any idea how to make this work?

By flexible, do you mean "phrase"? It sounds like you have it set to [exact].

Nope it's typed in like kw power generators and then selected flexible from the dropdown next to it, which is they I don't get it, would make more sense if it had been exact.

I thought the choices were phrase, broad, and exact? What is flexible?...

    Add the keywords:
100 kw power generators, 100kw power generators, power generators 200kw
to those ad groups and see if they start appearing in search results.

Also, try looking within that ad group for a link that says something like 'searches used' (I can't remember the exact wording) -- it will show you the phrases used to view your keywords. You may find by looking at the search terms being used that ppl may not be using "100 kw power generators" as a way to find them...

Thanks, i'll take a look at these searches used, didn't knew you could see that too.
Just boggles me that it's acting like that and not including that extra word in the broad search.

I agree, and what's interesting is Google says to add keyword phrases you want to be found by, *even* if you're already broad or phrase-based match.
