If that question cannot be answered, I'd be more in the line of removing lotteries as well; than going all for gambling.

If there was a way to make sure my tax dollars is not subsidizing their stupidity, then I'd go the other way. I don't really give a shit what people do either way, just as long as I'm not the one paying their penalty somehow.

I don't think so. It may depend on the card issuing bank though.

I'm not really sure how it all works. I hate gambling. Well actually I hate losing money. If I lose more than $200 a day in Vegas or at da boat, I get really pissed off and end up having to drink myself silly. :p

I actually win in Vegas but lose at the boats.

Last time I was in Vegas, I walked into my hotel after arriving (bags still in hand) , threw a $50 into a Wheel of Fortune slot machine and won $800. So I went upstairs, dropped my bags off and went back down. I won over $2,500 in less than 30 minutes.

Damn Caesar's for having a mall right next to the casino!!! I ended up having to buy another piece of luggage to bring all of the crap I bought back home.

Drink myself silly? The Bears play Monday night....

I just opened that video as my wife came over to show me something. She saw it on my screen, turned around and walked away without saying a word. :/

Whatever the government can not control they illegalize. Though in this particular case I think they did the right thing. Online gambling is a scam and does not benefit to anyone other than the website operators. Gambling in general is bad for people anyways. I'm happy they make it harder for people to gamble online, its for their own good.

I'm as free as I've ever been. And I think your point is just another attack on America. Seems to be your obcession in life.

What right did I lose? I asked that before and you couldn't find any. I don't know about your Constitution (arresting school kids for not studying with english speaking kids, but you want to point fingers at my country?), but my constitution doesn't mention gambling. However, if I did want to gamble, I could drive an hour in one direction, two hours in another direction and six hours in another direction and gamble to my hearts desire.

So if I have some extra money and I'd like to invest it into someone to do a kill for hire, that'd be ok?

If I have some extra money and I'd like to invest it into a few kilos of coke, the government should allow me the freedom to do so?

Here's an oldie but a goodie. I have some extra money and I'd like to invest it into the training of 20 terrorists to attend flight schools, live off the land and ultimately hijack planes and fly them into buildings. But, the government shouldn't interfere with my right to spend my money as I see fit?

So the only rights anyone in the US should have are the ones written in the constitution?

America is the land of the free.

And we as Americans freely elected representatives who passed this stupid law.

This isn't really a new law, it's a clarification of existing laws. Existing laws which I feel are outside of the scope of legitimate government function, but existing laws nonetheless.

If we Americans decide to express our freedom to get these laws changed, we can and we will.
