Hi everyone!
I'm new at FileSonic, and I have a question. In the statistic ("Manage Files":downloads, or "My Dashboard" stats) how much is the delay? So for example someone downloads one of my files. How long does it takes to appear in these stats? realtime? 1 hour, 12 hour? a day?

 

It is pretty close to realtime, it is hard to say for sure but it seems to me it is really good.

lol same thing seems to happen to me. you have to commit for a few weeks at least to go through the varience

Formula for deciding which plan to choose,

If weekly earnings from ppd is above $10 & weekly no of sales is 1 or no then ppd is the best choice.

If weekly average no of sales is above 2 & average ppd earning is below $10, choosing $10 pps or pps might be the best plan always.

If weekly earning from ppd is below $5, then $10 fixed pps is the best plan irrespective of download rates.

For 400mb+ limit uploads, $10 fixed pps might be the best plan as people usually go for premium to get only those one's.

 

Effectively, the stats are pretty close to realtime, but since they are asynchronous, it is possible to have a delay (couple minutes to couple hours) but we are usually working to make sure they are as fast as possible.

As you see, FileSonic always work hard to give you more features.

We released Sonic Preview couple days ago to allow you posting your file preview on forums.

Since many people asked to get a gallery / folder feature to post more then one picture in the forums, we created the Sonic Preview Albums that allow you to give more then one picture in only 1 image. This can be usefull for video previewing...



To create your own album, login in your FileSonic account, go on Tools >> Sonic Preview and then click on the new button Create Album. When you select your pictures, you can select more then one JPEG on Firefox, Safari and Chrome by using Ctrl+Click.

You are invited to test it and give us some feedback.

PPS is 60% of the sale... While PPS fixed is $10 for every sale (no matter the size of the sale!)

i don't think that this formulae is perfect i have an average earning of $20 from ppd and average 1 sale each day so i choose to be better on ppd than pps

Since you have $20 avg per day from ppd then ppd is best as the no of sales per day is only 1. Because uncertainty is always in the sales not on the download rates.

If your avg download rate falls below $10 (80% will not happen, unless you stop posting in threads), in this case weekly no of sales is on an avg 3 or above so remaining on pps plans is the best option for you.

 

I do not mean XXX sharing or extra. I mean idea share. I have 200+ forums. Problem is not the place. Problem is SUBJECT and STYLE.
