yes.the same way i have done .but it wont result us in good way.i suggest do some goof tweeting and be active in discussions then automatically we will get followed by others.

Great tips, automating the unfollow process is the way to go, doing it manually once you get over a few hundred followers gets to be very time consuming

As to the 2,000 people limit.

When you reach 2,000 people followed, you can only follow 10% more than the number of followers you have.

For example, you have 2,345 followers.
2,345 x 10% = 234

So you can follow 2,345+234= 2,579

That's why you should unfollow people that do not follow you.

 

Most importantly, search for the leaders in your niche. Follow their followers...and your list will automatically grow.
