Hola ;-) I want to change my hosting provider (one of Hetzner plans) because of expired DA license & absence of support from admin. Due to this, old domains works, but I can't work with anything new. Payed ~33.20 USD per 1 year. Searching for hosting plan, which is able to handle 8-10 small niche sites (my personal interests/blogs). Hosting provider should ensure: * Apache v2.0+, MySQL v5.0.33+ * PHP v5.2.10+ (PHP v5.2.17/PHP v5.3.5 preferred), not v5.3.1 * Working PHP Zlib/PHP XML/PHP GD2/PHP iconv libraries * 16-32 MB memory for site (+/-) * PHP Safe Mode = Off * Double buffering = Off Products I want to use: DataLife Engine v8.5-v9.2 (licensed), Media Wiki v1.16.1 (limited access); IPB & Orange HRM v2.6.0.2 (later). Server physically can't be in Lithuania/Russia/Ukraine territory. France/German/Netherlands/Offshore based offers is welcome. Thanks, ~ AlcVitRes
Linux hosting = my choice, but uptime = too low. Part of ur website is still Under Construction, ic..
The server of the shared host I offered is in another High End dedicated server. My main site is not hosted on that server. The server has 99.94% Uptime. Ya my site is still under contruction. I am working out with the hosting plan tables. I will update it soon, but my billing section is active. You can choose and order from there.
Yes, seems like service pushing w/o even reading specs and I'd like to know UK-based hosting(s) stats, but with at least previous (99.99%) uptime level. Price is second factor to decide, so budget up to 48 USD would be fine. It depends on what is offered. For 2-3 larger projects (I also have other sites) I'd simply take VDS at Fornex, but their basic plan has Safe Mode On = so that sucks. I search for starter Reseller plans even. Any ideas..?
I'm picky, so checked over 10 hostings. Tried OVH with it's 10 requests limit to single 25 MB DB on Basic plan. Doh! Mochahost, then - again, wasn't my caliber. Knowing russian, managed to get 93w.ru name with Classic packs array starting from 0.96$/100 MB, but at order step was asked to register at additional payments processing service (...). So, I switched to firms, also offering starter reselling plans for my upgrades. Months ago, a client of mine asked to find shared hosting, able to handle "slightly" larger DBs under DLE engine. Checked it again and joined HawkHost. For 3.27 USD (- 40% Off » 1.97 USD/month) I payed ~9.5 USD less with good support. Pointing nameservers to Seattle.. Thanks everyone for handy replies
